Diane's Perfect Prime Rib
Bring meat to room temperature Preheat oven to 500 degrees Use a 2 or 3 sticks of softened butter and add / mix in,.....fresh parsley, salt pepper, minced garlic to form a paste to coat the meat thoroughly Take actual weight and times it times 5 (ex. 10.34 lbs times 5 = 51.7, round up to 52 mins at 500 degrees) Cook at 500 for the appropriate time Turn the oven off.....and do not open the oven door for 2 hours. Repeat DON'T OPEN the DOOR !! This is the best way I have ever used to cook it Perfectly........Thanks Diane

Diane!!! This was awesome. The wife was impressed with dinner I made tonight. It worked perfectly. The hardest part was not opening the oven for 2 hours! You rock.

Nice rib! That is way to domesticated for your lineage. I would suggest Francis Mallman's cookbook, Mallmann on Fire!

We had it tonight,............works as Diane said it would,............5 mins a pound at 500 degrees and then no looky for 2 hours,............perfect ,......yum. Tender and DE LISH SHE US.............thanks.
