VFW National will play stupid and pretend they didn't know, but once she became a State Commander in June of 2024, the National Adjutant became the custodian for her DD-214, in accordance with the By-laws. Everybody knew. EVERYBODY!

Thanks Chief. I wonder if their DD214 still reflects the SEAL qual when they get out. As the Senior Army NCO in Operations on a JTF I was tasked to do "FitReps" on Sailors and Marines and Airmen. I would sit with their senior NCO's and get guidance. I had no fucking clue what some of the blocks meant so We would sit together with the Sailor/Marine/Airman they were familiar with to get some guidance. I'm a better person for knowing them.

Here, just settled in after the 9 hr ride. Almost a 45 min creep… 2 squads were keeping us down to about 2-3 MPH while they did moving pothole patching just over the Kentucky border, on I 65. The devastation is real in Southern ILLinNoiz, Tennessee and Kentucky. Large mature trees just torn apart from the Ice. Good to be home, the trip was a good refresh. Thanks EWS….
