Love the "shooting gallery" atmosphere. Grew up in a backwoods part of Oklahoma. There was gunfire all around. If not from hunting season, then from the range about a mile away. There was never so much as a robbery in the area, forget about murders, assaults, rape or anything else. Guns going off regularly seems to keep undesirables from acting up. Can't beat it, comforting sound!

Diane! Darling!!! This is Amy, Scottie Baecker's Queen! I adore you and everything you do. My family and I up in Northern Michigan, Petoskey, have done this with steaks before with Cherry & Apple wood, they are so delish. When we pulled them off the fire we dredged them in melted real butter to get any ash off....OMG...so good and just melts in your mouth. Thanks for sharing such an awesome recipe and keep up the good fight. If your ever in Michigan give us a shout :)

This method of cooking also works terrifically with a big ol slab of skirt steak. Just add some salt, rub with some oil, and put that sucker on the coals till it's nice and juicy. The key is to not over do it. Great video guys

I throw my sweet potatoes directly on the fire with no foil. I am going to try the dirty steak this weekend for sure. That technique looks amazing . Muj and the cat need their own segments. Those guys are characters.
