I Could Be Good for You

The weekend is here, and as usual, we're hanging out with our good neighbor, Hef. We got to Hef's, and his phone rang. It was Mom asking how everyone enjoyed her leftovers from the seafood boil yesterday, the leftovers she asked me to bring to Hef's. I never thought she'd call, busted. Hef, #2, and #3 weren't happy when they found out I gorged myself on all the leftovers. I had to be quick on my feet. I was able to pinch some cash out of Hef's secret stash. I apologized to all for keeping all the seafood leftovers to myself. I told them that to make up for that, the Chinese takeout would be on me(Hef😏). As soon as I said that, all was good. I made sure I pinched enough money from Hef to leave a healthy tip. We ate well, had a few whiskeys, and passed around a nice sized finger joint. Then we turned our attention to the Watkins Glen International speedway. You guessed it, the DeLorean rides again. Our destination: 1960, New York. We put the DeLorean in the race. Hef was telling us how cutthroat those races used to be, so we decided we had to put some people in their place. The DeLorean crushed all the competition, we've modified her centuries into the future. Warp drive is our back up propulsion system. We can find ourselves anywhere in the continuum with just a thought. We obviously throttled back enough to keep the race competitive. The checkered flag, the trophy, and the winner's check were all ours. No mortal man was going to win this day, it's a kind of magic. When we returned home we presented Hef, with the trophy we won, was so happy and grateful for it. We told him the next trophy would be in the Indy 500. Hef told us to enjoy it while we could. He said as the weather gets nicer there would be lots of HVAC service calls and new customers. He said all Summer long we were going to be busy with calls. The only thing that came to our minds was the Burger King job...

Senior, it was very clear that a bronze star device is very different from the Bronze Star medal. She played on the subtle differences on her VFW app. Should be clear to anyone the way you explained it, I would hope anyway.
