For those not familiar with cooking rib roasts here's what she's doing. She/You are trying to duplicate the cooking process of commercial roasters called an "Alto sham". Most restaurants have them in their kitchen just for making prime rib or roast beef. Also, rarely will you find a true "Prime" rib roast in a store. "Prime" is the grade and are almost always already reserved for distributors to restaurants. Most of the time you'll be finding choice grade rib roasts which although slightly less tender due to a little less marbling...are still very good tasting. Also, restaurants(and you should)cook the roasts to rare. A hot vat of au jus is used to dip pieces in to bring them up to med rare, med etc... depending on the temp, you'll dunk it in for 30 sec to med rare, a min to med...you get the idea...but never, ever cook the entire roast to anything past rare in the center or you'll end up with well done at the ends. Not good eats!lol! Bon Apetite'!

I think Don and Diane are about as "even steven" on the political side as they can be. Personally I can't see how a person can be a serious military minded person and be a democrat at the same time. I'm a serious minded Republican and always have been! God save our great United States of America.

On the political nature of the site. I watched the video of Don when he had to bunk with a female and the tension until the relief the next morning that nothing inappropriate happened. Don is an honorable guy and he is also very intuitive. Despite his faults (per Diane) I had no doubt he is not abusiveto women. The disappointment came with watching the video of Diane and her friend. I know am more sensitive because I was drugged and raped as a young woman. I had no strong husband or the maturity yet myself to do anything other than feel ashamed angry and stuff my feelings away for years. There are actions short of rape that some men take upon women that affect them negatively. The only comparison I can make that Diane may relate is the attacks Bernath made on her and the anger stress and dread he inflected on her. Its personal is all I am saying. You know when it happens to you. So when I saw some comments from female subs dismissive of women who have spoken publicly against men who hurt them, it really hit me hard. Last point, How is this political? The reactions of people are colored by which tribe they are on. I saw this with Bill Clinton and its going on now. I dont go after the dumb guys on here. I do wish that we women here could get beyond politics when it comes to this matter. Also, I am more liberal than most of you, but I am no snowflake and I have a Taurus Judge and my aim is true lol. Heres a secret for you, the Democrats will NEVER come for your guns, never. As if they even could. Anyway, clearly an old scar has been cracked open and Im gonna take myself out of the game for awhile. Need to heal a bit and get my perspective back.
