Last update I promise…No hits in the shed or Mom’s house, or the property, a lot of arguing between sister’s and a neighbor, I took my mother to my house for the night, the problem child left to stay with one of her twin daughters who are sweethearts and are going to get her help, and Mom will have her house back with just her and her cat. Charles Hercules Green was born in 1919 and aged 20 enlisted in the Army in 1939 tor overseas service. He rose quickly to Platoon Commander and was a Captain by 1941. A year later he was a Major following his actions after the fall of Greece to the Germans. On 9 March 1945, Green took over command of the 2/11th Battalion, At the age of only 25 he was the youngest Australian battalion commander during the war. He was promoted to temporary lieutenant colonel five days later. Green was selected to command 3RAR in the Korean War 15 years later. Around dusk at 18:10, six high-velocity shells, likely from a KPA SPG or tank, hit the battalion position. Five of the shells landed on the forward slope, while the sixth cleared the crest and detonated to the rear of the C Company position after hitting a tree. In his tent on a stretcher after 36 hours without sleep, Green was severely wounded in the abdomen by a fragment from the wayward round. He was evacuated to a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital at Anju but succumbed to his wounds and died two days later on 1 November, aged 30. Forty other men who had been in the vicinity when the shell exploded were unhurt. His Men worshiped him. He would do anything for his Men. They reckon he was the finest combat Officer we have had.

Morning . Checked out of the motel in Blackfalls Saturday . The weather isn't as severe . It was almost a 1,000 a week but I don't put a price on safety . If I get over tired or a storm blows in then I know where to go for a night . We could work right through for the next 3 weeks . Not to mention the motel bill but also the constant lunch and supper bills are over also . It was expensive but always watched what I ate . Major personal improvement , lost 18 lbs. since I started this job in March 3rd . Started I was 268 lbs. yesterday down to 250 lbs . Standing on that concrete floor 9 hrs. and 2 half hour breaks , I tell ya I was eating pain med like candy . Walk all day now doesn't bother me a bit . Having a kitchen to walk into at any time and have a smoke and a coffee without having to stand outside in the snow and wind , it's more than a treat , it's a treasure . Funny how the simple things in life brings a simple man like myself a great deal pleasure . Have a wonderful day and for heaven sake , stay safe .

Update… I’m hours away from going to the police station, they responded to the death in my mother’s driveway, and I’ve learned the police confiscated drugs and money from my brother in law. I haven’t heard a thing since, the family is turning on each other, my widowed sister is using too! I have a work shed too at my mother’s, and neighbors have been telling me the lights have been going on and off at 1,2,3,4 in the morning before he died. They have been staying at her house for months and months ( losers), was supposed to be there only 2 weeks. I talk to my mother every night on the phone before she goes to bed and closes the door, of her room, then all this shit start’s. I’ve suspected this since they first got there and now it turned out to be true. I am her only son, I have 4 sister’s, and all the rest are squared away with their life and DON’T do drug’s. Mom sticks up for the sister doing the drug’s, and says she would never do that especially at her house. I’ve got tips from neighbors, who keep me posted about all of it. Guy’s I’m not eating or sleeping much because of all of this, and that’s why I am going to the police station later (3:30 am now) and going to try to find out who the officers were and get some info and see if they will bring a drug sniffing dog to check my shed for traces of Fentanyl or cocaine cause that’s what they found in him and hopefully I can pursuance them to take the dog into the house too. I’m asking anyone for advise, am I doing the right thing? I just wan’t my mother to live what’s left of her life (86) in peace, and try to open her eye’s to this. It’s tearing me up. I would go there every week or two and care for her property and we would eat and talk outside and I brought her out of being in bed cause her back was so bad, and even took her to all her appointments and got her back on her feet and I want those times again, I want my sister the fuck out of there, and to get a life. They have 4 adult children of their own and married and even have 2 new born’s that their grandfather has devastated by this. 😡 I’ll fill you in on what the results were with the police, if anyone cares to know. Whats still so bizarre to me, is that he tried to pull this off WHILE serving. Active or Reserve, that has be be an extremely rare thing, because that level of dumbness is... UM ... Well, Guinness book. The dumbest person(s) I ever met in the Army on active duty would have never, ever, claimed to be a SEAL, Delta Operator, CIA, Fighter Pilot, etc... to another active duty soldier.
They might have bullshitted about PT scores, GT scores, how many jumps they had, or how many strippers they were friends with, but never a SEAL. Interservice transfer (IST), is a real thing, but an exceptionally "RARE" thing, from one branch to another, but these type guys try to make it sound routine.

Last update I promise…No hits in the shed or Mom’s house, or the property, a lot of arguing between sister’s and a neighbor, I took my mother to my house for the night, the problem child left to stay with one of her twin daughters who are sweethearts and are going to get her help, and Mom will have her house back with just her and her cat. I changed the lock on both shed’s, and hopefully no more drama till the funeral on Thursday. My sister was such a good woman before she met this guy, we all warned her that he was a con man, but we all know people are gonna do what they want. He left his wife, son,3 daughter’s, a five year old granddaughter and 3 newborn grand kid’s. Been biting my lip for a long long time, but ya gotta keep going and cherish your freedom! Rest in peace you selfish son of a bitch!

Charles Hercules Green was born in 1919 and aged 20 enlisted in the Army in 1939 tor overseas service. He rose quickly to Platoon Commander and was a Captain by 1941. A year later he was a Major following his actions after the fall of Greece to the Germans.
On 9 March 1945, Green took over command of the 2/11th Battalion, At the age of only 25 he was the youngest Australian battalion commander during the war.
He was promoted to temporary lieutenant colonel five days later.
Green was selected to command 3RAR in the Korean War 15 years later.
Around dusk at 18:10, six high-velocity shells, likely from a KPA SPG or tank, hit the battalion position. Five of the shells landed on the forward slope, while the sixth cleared the crest and detonated to the rear of the C Company position after hitting a tree.
In his tent on a stretcher after 36 hours without sleep, Green was severely wounded in the abdomen by a fragment from the wayward round. He was evacuated to a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital at Anju but succumbed to his wounds and died two days later on 1 November, aged 30. Forty other men who had been in the vicinity when the shell exploded were unhurt.
His Men worshiped him. He would do anything for his Men. They reckon he was the finest combat Officer we have had.
At this years Dawn Service we have a 97 year old Korean War bloke as guest of honor.

I didnt want to do it, but to make up the numbers I have finally joined the Returned & Services League of Australia. The RSL was set up after WW1 to advocate on behalf of returned men and women. It remained a force up until Vietnam, when the attitude shown to some of those blokes was despicable, "not a real Wat" and all that shit. Ignorance knows no bounds. Since then its been in decline due to the age of the Vets, but now bolstered by The ME Wars men and women.

Morning . Checked out of the motel in Blackfalls Saturday . The weather isn't as severe . It was almost a 1,000 a week but I don't put a price on safety . If I get over tired or a storm blows in then I know where to go for a night . We could work right through for the next 3 weeks . Not to mention the motel bill but also the constant lunch and supper bills are over also . It was expensive but always watched what I ate . Major personal improvement , lost 18 lbs. since I started this job in March 3rd . Started I was 268 lbs. yesterday down to 250 lbs . Standing on that concrete floor 9 hrs. and 2 half hour breaks , I tell ya I was eating pain med like candy . Walk all day now doesn't bother me a bit . Having a kitchen to walk into at any time and have a smoke and a coffee without having to stand outside in the snow and wind , it's more than a treat , it's a treasure . Funny how the simple things in life brings a simple man like myself a great deal pleasure . Have a wonderful day and for heaven sake , stay safe .

Update… I’m hours away from going to the police station, they responded to the death in my mother’s driveway, and I’ve learned the police confiscated drugs and money from my brother in law. I haven’t heard a thing since, the family is turning on each other, my widowed sister is using too! I have a work shed too at my mother’s, and neighbors have been telling me the lights have been going on and off at 1,2,3,4 in the morning before he died. They have been staying at her house for months and months ( losers), was supposed to be there only 2 weeks. I talk to my mother every night on the phone before she goes to bed and closes the door, of her room, then all this shit start’s. I’ve suspected this since they first got there and now it turned out to be true. I am her only son, I have 4 sister’s, and all the rest are squared away with their life and DON’T do drug’s. Mom sticks up for the sister doing the drug’s, and says she would never do that especially at her house. I’ve got tips from neighbors, who keep me posted about all of it. Guy’s I’m not eating or sleeping much because of all of this, and that’s why I am going to the police station later (3:30 am now) and going to try to find out who the officers were and get some info and see if they will bring a drug sniffing dog to check my shed for traces of Fentanyl or cocaine cause that’s what they found in him and hopefully I can pursuance them to take the dog into the house too. I’m asking anyone for advise, am I doing the right thing? I just wan’t my mother to live what’s left of her life (86) in peace, and try to open her eye’s to this. It’s tearing me up. I would go there every week or two and care for her property and we would eat and talk outside and I brought her out of being in bed cause her back was so bad, and even took her to all her appointments and got her back on her feet and I want those times again, I want my sister the fuck out of there, and to get a life. They have 4 adult children of their own and married and even have 2 new born’s that their grandfather has devastated by this. 😡 I’ll fill you in on what the results were with the police, if anyone cares to know. I don't understand these people. I wanted to be in the military but with my disabilities they wouldn't let me in. So I've been volunteering at the veteran's home for 14 years as my way of serving. Whats still so bizarre to me, is that he tried to pull this off WHILE serving. Active or Reserve, that has be be an extremely rare thing, because that level of dumbness is... UM ... Well, Guinness book. The dumbest person(s) I ever met in the Army on active duty would have never, ever, claimed to be a SEAL, Delta Operator, CIA, Fighter Pilot, etc... to another active duty soldier.
They might have bullshitted about PT scores, GT scores, how many jumps they had, or how many strippers they were friends with, but never a SEAL. Interservice transfer (IST), is a real thing, but an exceptionally "RARE" thing, from one branch to another, but these type guys try to make it sound routine.
Don, you made the US military safer once again by outing this apparent... I guess... schizophrenic. It's like he really believed his shit.
