OK, I tried this and it works like a charm,..............literally, .....hot, ready to eat corn on the cob without a single corn silk,........just add butter, salt and pepper,........ and you are good to go. I went with 4 to 5 minutes each,...................12 to 15 minutes for 3 and so on.
As far as butter,......I sacrifice a whole, new stick of real butter and let everyone just spin it longways on like a pro. It forms a perfect semi circle in the butter that makes it even easier for the next corn cob eater.

the next easy step is getting the corn off the cob. If you hae a bundt pan you can stickthe corn down that center hole and then use either an electric or sharp nice and scrape off the kernals. All the corn settles in the bowl part of your bundt pan. Nothing better than fresh corn on the cob
