I am in that odd place where I am 3 or so years where I should have enough to retire. Lots of books and advice on how to start your career and how to deal with mid career changes. I see very little on how to know when to quit. I don’t want to work a day beyond when I have to. Someone said your 60 to 70 are your best years. Only 1 year to go then. Any thoughts?

This is an acronym scuba divers use to memorize the warning signs and symptoms of Central Nervous System (CNS) Oxygen Toxicity. This condition can occur when diving with oxygen-enriched air (Nitrox), typically when exposed to high partial pressures of oxygen at depth. I've only gone diving on compressed air, no Nitrox or mixed gases. When I worked for my instructor at his dive shop, we had a compressor that filled the cascades. It had four filters on it that would remove any moisture from the compressed air. When filling the cascades, I would go out back about every 20-30 minutes to bleed the compressor. The first filter bled the most, the second a bit more, the third hardly anything, and the fourth nothing. It was only pure compressed air that would go into any tanks we filled. I have nothing but respect for any deep-sea/commercial diver. The depths they work at on mixed gases leave no room for error. I remember one time when filling the cascades, I was doing something else and wasn't paying attention. What happened was a burst disc blew, it's a built in safety feature, so the cylinder doesn't rupture from over fill. When it blew, it sounded like a bomb going off. It got my fuckin attention pretty quick. It blew a huge hole in the wall paneling, and it blew all the posters and merchandise off the walls. It took half a second to totally renovate the shop floor. Someone called the cops reporting an explosion. Police and Fire departments attended. That was fun explaining to them what happened. The only saving grace was my instructor, the store owner, had done the exact same thing a couple of times before. Live and learn...

I was at the doc getting a nerve test and bumped into a guy who said he had a suspected Navy SEAL in his apartment. But he thought he was not legit. Gave the guy the website and YouTube, and hopefully, he will reach out. The guy is in Lebanon, TN. Thanks for all you do Senior. Hope your health issues are resolved and yall get answers.

My Daughter got bit by a goat at the petting zoo when she was around 5. Crazy X made more drama than needed. I picked her up and said she should be lucky. I said Rachel barely anyone ever gets bit by a goat and that bite mark is special. When I was done laying it on she was the proud owner of a goat bite. I tried to get the goat to bite and was upset when he didn't to confirm how lucky she was. Good memories thanks for bringing them back. Keep making them Don and Diane. Hope Everyone is doing well
