I had a similar experience as a young SW when I reported to my first Battalion. The Company Chief tried to send me after a can of polarity for a welding rig. I asked him how many he needed, then I asked if I should get straight polarity or reverse. He loked at me with the 'deer in the headlights' look, so I said "that's okay, just take me to the rig and I can take a look at it and figure it out." Still looking at me, he said, "fucking 'boot camp' I thought I had you there for a minute!"

Storm headed to visit my son at Ft Rucker..... Lucky for him he's from FL .... We know what to expect!
