25(ish) years ago, the Government was working on an EMP machine, about the size of a standard Radar Gun LEOs use, to disable the ECU/ECM (the computer) in your car, thereby rendering your vehicles inoperable. Im sure they have it completed and just biding their time to use it! ALL passenger cars and trucks, 1981 and newer, have a form of Electronics in the engines, be it electronic ignition or electronic fuel injection, a small EMP blast will shut your vehicle down!
now go back to your old vehicles, I believe GM started using the HEI ignition (Electronic) about 1976 that replaced the old standard Points Ignition, and remember how bad the Government wanted all of us to get rid of our old vehicles? Cash For Clunkers!
I see people spending BIG $$$ on an 'OFF GRID' type of End Days survival type of vehicle, naturally its got electronics and computers doing everything! EMP renders it useless, government can still track it...
why dont people get smart, buy a pre-1970 4x4, bare bones all MECHANICAL engine (Carburetor, points ignition) or Diesel engine with extra fuel injectors! why Diesel ya ask? because diesel will run off diesel, but it will also run off other petroleum products, along with cooking oils (bio-diesel), but running used cooking oils will clog the injectors if ya alternate fuel types, hence having extras.
a Bug Out Vehicle, a range of weapons and sufficient ammo (think small caliber like , 22LR/22MAG, Shotgun, high powered rifle, handgun), with a couple caches of food and water and safe shelter should be our top priorities!

So Im going to hook into it for 6 months and see how I feel. Save me close to 500 a month. If I was a wine drinker I would only save 160 a month because wine has fuck all tax where as beer is taxed at 33% and goes up twice a year.
Slab of beer 70 bucks 4 litres of wine 10 bucks both have the same total alcohol content over all.

I am making this post so it will show back up as a future memory on my timeline: Today is four days after the 2020 election. Gasoline is currently $2.20 -2.80 per gallon. Interest rates are 2.65% for a 30 year mortgage. The stock market closed at 27,848, even though we have been fighting COVID for 9 months. Our GDP growth for the 3rd Qtr was 33%. Firearm ownership is at all time highs, We had the best economy ever until COVID and it is recovering well. We have not had any new wars or conflicts in the last 4 years. North Korea has been under control and has not been testing any missiles. Isis has not been heard from for over 3 years. The housing market is the strongest in over 20 years. Homes have appreciated at an unbelievable rate and sell within hours of going on the market, with multiple offers. I hope our new leadership can build on these things and can keep them going, but if I were a betting person I would bet that the only place we will see these results will be in this post.
