Mom is working all weekend, and we made some big plans, or so we thought. We got the video games, DVDs, and the tunes all lined up. We each ponied up $16.66 for some good weed. It was supposed to be finger joints all weekend long. We left it to #3 to arrange the pickup. To our disappointment, that didn't happen; #3 dropped the ball big time. He wanted a chance to redeem himself, so he went to Hef all teary-eyed to see if he could pinch some smoke off him for the weekend. Hef just laughed in his face, said he and Bob were going on a bender for the weekend and he couldn't spare any. Nice Hef is going on a bender, Mom thinks he's watching us for the weekend. Oh well, we still have about 2.5 grams of hash between the three of us, looks like we're gonna have to do knife tokes all weekend long. Making it work is gonna be challenging...

Great video D&D, the time is drawing near. The new house is coming, and I couldn't be happier for you guys. Nice to see all the well wishes and thank yous for Don and Diane. However, it's not a funeral; it's the next chapter, and the next chapter is always better than the last. Don and Diane have been dealing with change their whole lives, from service in the Navy to family and beyond. Senior has been there before. Take his time in SEAL Team; your flame only burns so long. There are only so many slots, and lots of younger and capable people coming up the ranks. There comes a time when it's the right thing to do: to step away and let the next guy have his day. You hand off the torch, setting the next guy in line up for success. Like Don said how you could never grab the $10 bill, that's because it was always meant for the next guy to grab. The group that's getting Warriors Rest will hit the ground running. Senior paved the road, they just have to drive it. Now it's up to them to maintain it, and make it better for the next guy. Again so happy for both of you, can't wait to see the new place. Thank you both for everything you do here for us at ESE. It's been an incredible ride, looking forward to seeing what you do next.
