I have an abdominal hernia as well and my doctor told me that he doesn't recommend surgery because of the evasiveness of it. He told me that at my age I'm not going to be a swim suit model so try to live with it. Hearing your story just confirms what he said and I'll live with it.

Don, I left the USS Trenton I believe in 1979 as an RM1. Spent four years on it in Radio. Sorry you had a bad experience with someone there. After I left the ship while it was in the yards learned one RM1 who hailed from shore duty in London and and RM3 which I raised turn out to be shitbirds. Have no idea who it was after you came aboard.

I’m a long time critical care nurse and if he was really on a ventilator in that picture the endotracheal tube is shoved down so far it must be coming out his rear! The blue tube is the hose that goes from the machine and connects to the clear ET tube. He has put the end of the hose in his mouth for the picture.
