When I Google background check on my name, all that comes up is a pro-wrestler from the 80's. Apparently, we share the exact same name, and he's got a lot more presence on the internet than I do.

Unbelievable! Cant understand why he wouldnt of googled this guy.. how do these people get jobs especially in journalism..

Why was the journalist doing a story on this guy in the 1st place? It can't be because he was a fire fighter, because he wasn't and couldn't have been!

My wife with her 30 years experience as a journalist rolls her eyes up when I recount these tales to her. She has always fact-checked everything. But she learned all the reasons for that in high school.

Anything to do with Viet-Nam she hands to me. For recent conflicts I have a friend who had several deployments as an infantry company commander. If she ever has to deal with vetting a SEAL you can bet your phone will ring.
