Split some wood and picked up some walnuts from the woods today. I've got 4 black walnut trees right on or near the main trail. There are still quite a few that haven't dropped yet. I probably have another dozen or so trees spread around the rest of the property.

My lady has taken to feeding the squirrels. This one female in particular is like a pet. Dam near sit in your lap. She's territorial and chases off the others. Funny to watch. On top of that she jumps on the window ledge looking in when hungry. I know it's just a squirrel but figured I would share.

I was sitting at a long stoplight yesterday, minding my own business, patiently waiting for it to turn green even though there was no on-coming traffic.

A carload of scruffy-bearded, young men shouting Anti-American and BLM slogans with a half-burned American Flag duct-taped on the trunk of their car and a "Remember George Floyd" slogan spray painted on the side stopped next to me. Suddenly they yelled, "Defund the police." and took off before the light changed.

Out of nowhere an 18-wheeler came speeding through the intersection and ran directly over their car, crushing it completely and killing everyone in it.

For several minutes I sat in my car thinking to myself, "Man... that coulda been me!"

So this morning, bright and early, I went out and got myself a job as a truck driver.

Those were great shots of the impoundments, better perspective on how far they come over the past five years, it looks amazing, them birds will be dropping left and right, you'll be upset you bagged your limit shortly after sun up.
