After 4 days in the 90s we had a high of 62 with a torrential downpour of 0.29" of rain and a possibility of frost Saturday morning.

Packing up graciously donated flea and tick medication to take to the K9 APU units in Uganda and South Africa. My 8th trip over with needed supplies for the wildlife officers fighting the poaching epidemic.

Finally throwing in the towel--sold the house and am moving into an independent living retirement facility next tuesday--any of you guys and gals want to volunteer to help me pack all of my military medals?

So I was sitting in the gutter, minding my own business.
I was waiting for someone, I didnt want to sit in the car, too hot, didnt want to sit on a seat and entertain the tourists. So i was just listening to the radio and observing some ants foraging and meeting each other along the way.

Then I hear a voice, are you OK buddy, I look and this woman is standing there.
Im thinking of what to say, without telling her to fuck off and leave me alone, and she asks if Im waiting for the laundromat.

Now we dress a bit rough up here, no one can recognise anyone if they get dressed up, its the country, your clothes get dirty as soon as soon as you leave the house. They get holes in them, but a man does not throw out clothes because of holes.

Then she starts up again, is everything alright?, I havent said a word, but now Im thinking there might be some cash in this, but noo, she starts up again, are you sure youre alright, of all the things I could have said, because she wasnt moving, I just said, I was enjoying the peace and quiet.

Im not leaving the house for 2 weeks and then only once and then not for a month. Maybe I need some new clothes, I dunno maybe she annoys everyone.

I cant deal with people any more. They are all so bored and brain dead up here any new face is to be seen as a source of entertainment. Everything takes so long, because no one has any sense of time. 70% of people work for themselves and the other 30% have to work to their time. Its worse than Greece.
15 minutes becomes an hour and a half, they dont know any better.

Anyway on a lighter note, the two roos that hopped past the other day, were splattered on the highway just up the road this morning.

Don, had same problem, ran short chain from either side of the two arms of the 3pt. hitch and under the disc coupling shaft (about where the hand screw jack is) and use lift to get it up to hitch.....worked for me.
