A SAD DAY FOR AUSTRALIA

Australia's most decorated soldier Ben Roberts-Smith has been arrested and is due to be charged with five alleged war crimes.

My daughter's cat finally had kittens late last night (4). It's the Easter long weekend, time to reflect and enjoy being around family. Mom is off, so tonight we were treated to a wonderful Easter ham with all the trimmings. After the main course, we were spoiled with cake, pie, and ice cream; there's always room left for dessert. Unfortunately, our good neighbor, Hef, couldn't attend; he's on call this weekend. Mom had us take a plate over to him for later. We told Mom not to worry about all the dishes; we're more than happy to do that for her after that wonderful meal. She better remember that when she's handing out all our Easter treats and chocolate tomorrow. Mom stretched out on the couch with a few bottles of wine, and it wasn't long after that she passed out. We smoked a nice after-dinner joint and played some video games while we digested our meal. Then we came up with an incredible idea: a trip back in history. You guessed it, the DeLorean rides again. Our destination: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, September 17, 1787, the signing of the Constitution. The room had a high-energy, no-nonsense atmosphere. Washington was very open and appreciative of our input. Our suggestions really trimmed the fat and buttoned down the final document. After the formal signing, we had an opportunity to speak with Washington. We told him about how the stolen valor was getting out of hand and that the VFW was enabling it all. He became enraged; he asked if we could bring him and his militia back to our time. His mission would be to go state to state across the whole USA burning all the VFW's to the ground, and making examples of all the treasonous phonies along the way. Thanks Don! Like I said, I would put my money on you anyday over AI, but it's scary how much info is available with AI and how quickly it is available. I have a PC that I built for local LLMs and it is scary how it talks to you. (I have an RTX 5090, Ryzen 9 9950X3d and 128GB of RAM in my PC.) When I load an LLM, I can ask it anything and it thinks and talks to me. It dawned on me yesterday that a phony could do some real damage with this, but again, Dons experience and work proves a major formidible foe to AI. AIs information about BUDs and SEALs is an inch deep and a mile wide, but Dons info and abilities are 50 feet deep and a mile wide.
