Just got my new firearms permit in the mail today, March 20. It expired on my birthday back January 8th. They sent me a notice back in October 2022 that my renewal was due by my birthday. That notice basically said if I was 10 seconds late in renewing it, my permit would not be valid and to expect a visit from the police, they will be attending my residence to seize my firearms. I guess that doesn't go both ways, seeing they were over two months past my birthday getting me my new permit. I can't wait for the next Federal Election...🍁

I was out at the mall earlier today, had some things to pick up. While there I noticed my phone somehow got locked out. It was a screen I'd never seen before, I tried everything I knew, which isn't much. No luck, now I'm in panic mode, thought the phone was done and I lost everything. There was a girl there with her dad, she was 11 years old. She asked me if she could try unlocking my phone, I thought what do I have to lose, she took all of 15 seconds to fix the problem. I must be getting too old to keep up with all this technology. I think I'm gonna get the same phone Chu has !!
Have been offline for a few days.Went to the city of Fairbanks and North Pole first time since October.Went to the Rosanne Cash concert it was kick ass.Yesterday I took my mom to the ice park and to church and then we celebrated her 90th birthday!Of course I am not a church goer But I did it for my mom.The roof or walls of the church did not even fall in.Catholics,stand,sit kneel and do this several times.As I have a bad knee and am a above knee amputee,I just friggen sat there.Was a bluebird for me on the way home.Road was ice free.Have to go back Thursday for Dr. stuff.Will bring my Costco list this time.Ya all have a great week

I have a 9-inch, 24-inch, and 36-inch rabbit mold specifically to cast either hollow or solid rabbits. I get the 30-pound bars of chocolate from a supplier in Wisconsin and cast the rabbits either hollow or solid based on the dietary preference of the parents. I usually cast one type of chocolate on the outer surface with a harder covering so that the hollow structure can stand it up on its own. Then for the more adventurous parents, I cast milk chocolate into a softer chocolate and then do a liquid white core (which I cast soft). For the larger rabbit, it required over 30 cycles to coat in the mid-shells, as you can not case these multilayer candies as a solid, as the chocolate need to brake off in layers for the optical experience. For the larger rabbits, for the high school-age kids, I also cast in much more sugar and swirled in ghost pepper,
A 36-inch rabbit requires around 45 pounds of chocolate if solid, and it takes the better part of a year to eat. I also mix senna into the chocolate when I brew it (one must ferment chocolate for the best effect). I also make it from beans that I roast and exact myself, ferment, and so on.

Pig lips, ears and a holes and EARS the story of Tim Kreinberg’s grandma’s annual Ear feed:
My friend’s grandma had a yearly pig EAR feed. His grandmother called that morning of my first and only and last attendance and she said to my friend and her grandson after carefully noting the importance of PIG EAR selection (size, symmetry etc) of ears at the butcher, “Tim the ears are so beautiful this year in particular” He was taken a back and asked grandma how can pig ears look beautiful? Her response: “Well Tim I spent all morning carefully PLUCKING THE HAIR out of the ears!!!!!!!!! Ha! A good lesson…always get a good hair plucking of the pig ears in before “cooking them.”His grandpa had an old time grocery store so they had all of these SELECT cuts. In a gelatinous broth, the EARS were carefully attended to and served in a big frothy bowl, put on cheap white bread with mustard. Nothing like hearing that Cartlidge snap as you bit into these gourmet specialties.Needless to say my last ear feast.
And we all used to go to South Dakota together on a yearly trip and camp at Custer State Park home of a very large herd of bisen, we always had a “tongue ceremony” and made “Buffalo tongue”.
