Really cool information. Sub duty is risky enough without you crazy dudes opening the windows!

I remember the video you posted about the sail plane launches of the boats. So cool.

Day two Southold LI. Rain today so we hit the LI aquarium. Finally the sun came out and we played frisbee in the yard before we bbq our dinner. Tomorrow we chartered a fishing boat and hope to catch dinner. We brought down maine lobsters and ribeyes just in case. You always need to be prepared. Thanks to this amazing community for allowing me to share my family fun.

Interesting stuff Senior.
I never got aboard a sub, but when I was station in the Port Department (tug boats) in 71' at Rota, Spain, we would escort them into the harbor and they'd tie up to the USS Holland.
I always wanted to board one, but never had the opportunity.
