I think that snake was pre-deceased. Shooting a snake in the head, in my experience, leads to several minutes of reflexive writhing. Your snake appeared asleep after the shot.

A 6' long snake in a duck box that won't come out of the box, what to do?? get a pistol put in some rat shot and shoot the bastard in the head and the problem is all taken care of with a bit of work after that.

I used to collect snakes for money as a youngster. My best snake story: A friends mother called my house to have me remove a snake from her yard. When I arrived I asked where it was. She pointed to her car. I looked closer and found the snake underneath her front tire. She had run over it's head and pinned it. When I asked why she called me,she replied that she wouldn't touch it because snakes even when killed are dangerous until the sun goes down. I almost pissed my self laughing. I had her move her car and I peeled the snake off the driveway and disposed of it. She never did tell me where she had heard about the sundown thing. The funny part was that it was a garter snake about 6 inches long after being squashed by her car.

Im sure most of you know by now, Im a pretty conservative guy politically, I dont know a ton about politics but I fit better as a Republican with some liberal views. A good friend, die hard republican sent me this link to a fella named Chris Pratt. He won some MTV Award last night. I must say I love movies and a good book but wouldnt know this guy if I ran into him. I must have read and watched this video 100X. I mostly read it though. Its actually very simple but also brilliant in my opinion. If more younger people thought this way Id have a lot more faith in our future. Enjoy these very wonderful ( and humorous) thoughts. 1.) Breathe- if you dont youll suffocate
2.) you have a soul. Be careful with it.
3.) Dont be a turd. If youre strong be a protector and if youre smart be a humble influencer; strength and intelligence can be weapons, and do not wield them against the weak. That makes you a bully. Be bigger than that.
4.) When giving a dog medicine, put the medicine in a little piece of hamburger, they wont know theyre eating medicine.
5.) Doesnt matter what it is, earn it. A good dead, reach out to someone in pain, be of service, it feels good and its good for your soul.
6.) God is real. God loves you. God wants the best for you. Believe that. I do.
7.) If you have to poop at a party, but youre embarrassed because youre going to stink up the bathroom, do what I do: lock the door, sit down, get all the pee out first. Okay? And then, once all the pees done, poop, flush, boom. You minimize the amount of time the poop is touching the air, because if you poop first, it takes you longer to pee and then youre peeing on top of it, stirring it up, the poop particles create a cloud, it goes out and then everyone in the partyll know that you pooped. Just trust me, its science.
8.) Learn to pray. Its easy and its so good for your soul.
9.) Nobody is perfect. People will tell you that you are perfect just the way you are, you are not!! You are imperfect. You always will be, but there is a powerful force that designed you that way, and if you are willing to accept that , you will have grace. And grace is a gift. Like freedom that we enjoy in this country, that grace was paid for with somebody elses blood. Do not forget that. Dont take that for granted.

I did this Cobra Gold Exercise in 1984. This of course is many years after but dulled down after some epic fails..lol
