Back from the 2 day trip from the Firecreek casino Battle Creek Michigan. With my two sons I highly recommend this. Casino. Other than Las Vegas you’ll not find a better casino with all the enmity’s anywhere with a sportsbook,slots,craps,baccarat,Fantastic Poker Room,Hotel Suites that are very reasonable price very Good Restaurants,excellent Staff,and the fastest elevators I have ever seen And That are far greater priced than Las Vegas. And those of you that know me are aware I know my Casinos if anyone That resides in the area or has been there please let me know if You’ze agree with me. Solong For Now. Another weekend is here. Summer break is great. Mom has to work again this weekend, so we're at our good neighbor Hef's place again. Yesterday, Hef had us out on several calls, mostly preventative HVAC maintenance, replacing air filters. The smoke from the Canadian wildfires is bad, so it's understandable that customers want their air filters checked and replaced. That's okay, we made sure all the replacement filters came out of Hef's van. Between the three of us, we looked after 24 customers for Hef. We've noticed that since we've been off for the summer, Hef has given us lots of work while he's been taking weeks off. He's been building model cars, working on his ride, and going to the bars with Bob. He knows we'll pick up his slack. Some would call that exploitation; Hef would say he doesn't keep a dog and do his own barking. On a more serious note, we've been monitoring the impact of the Canadian smoke. We've deployed low orbital satellites over North America to follow the smoke's path. So this weekend the DeLorean is staying put so we can assess this situation. Smoke particles, especially microscopic particulate matter (PM 2.5), are highly dangerous to living beings. When inhaled, they penetrate deep into the lungs and can enter the bloodstream, triggering widespread inflammation and oxidative stress. This causes respiratory issues, cardiovascular damage, and long-term cognitive and developmental problems. Canadian wildfires have consumed approximately 2.9 million hectares (7.2 million acres) across various provinces and territories. That's exactly why we are in our lab working on a liquid compound that will extinguish these wildfires. We asked Hef to join us in the lab. He wanted to go to the women's beach volleyball tournament this weekend, have a BBQ, and a few beers while there. The air quality put an end to that idea. We wanted to give him another option, so we moved the BBQ and beers to our climate-controlled lab. We let him sit in the DeLorean and play the radio, hoping this would raise his spirits. The only things rising are the Canadian smoke and Hef's temperature. Smoke, she is arising...

I was inside The Walls once but not long enough to tour it. thats the Missouri River on the Left and yes, the prison has flooded a few times. the 1st and oldest prison West of the Mississippi River!

If there's one thing not endangered it's Crows.
There are a couple outside now.
Every 6 years or so the large flock descends on the neighborhood and they are everywhere, this is the place they want to be and roost for a month or two.
There must be some little high protein insect in the grass or something but nobody can figure out what it is.
