Teen saves dad's life, lifts truck to free him trapped beneath

I had the honor of meeting Len Bence, Flying Officer, SN 422915, RAAF WW2 not long ago at our ANZAC DAY Dawn Service. At 99 years of age, Len was frail but sharp as a tack. As I was wearing my Beret, I had the honor to salute this man one last time. Australians are not permitted to salute unless they are wearing Headdress.
Sadly Len passed away a couple of months before his 100th birthday. I told him I would see him next year but he looked at me and said "no you wont" and he was right.
Len lived an amazing life and was a very talented Artist, boy he could paint.
"World War II veteran Leonard Bence survived a remarkable 30 night-time missions in the iconic Lancaster bomber aircraft flying from northern England on bombing raids over mainly Germany but once as far as Norway.
"The Germans had submarine pens in Norway. That was a very long trip, one of the longest of the war. About 12 hours. We had to study our fuel consumption otherwise we wouldn't have got back," he said.
Was there much left in the tank when they did get back?
"I don't know. I didn't check it," he said, laconically.
"We all had a smoke."

An RAAF flying officer with the 106 Squadron, Mr Bence said "it was only luck that kept me alive" as he bombed strategic targets such as munition factories, rail yards and even waterways along which the Germans moved boats.
"I had a few terrible raids, terrible trips. Got 33 holes one night. But overall I enjoyed it, I really enjoyed," he said.
"Let's face it, the Lancaster was the finest bomber plane in the world at the time, no doubt about it." "It was wonderful to fly, very manoeuvrable and I loved every minute of it, I really did."
Mr Bence said there was no doubt what war meant to him.
"I think it means the same to anyone, what a ridiculous waste of men and when you look around to see all the things you've got here [at the memorial], what a terrific waste war is, materials as well as menfolk. It's terrible but we'll have them forever more I think. There'll always be wars unfortunately," he said.

Some just with heads removed but not taken, so I reckon thats a cat, because a fox always takes the head.
So now, Ive taken the law into my own hands. I cant have a GUN
So Ive baited treble hooks tonight on wire trace, baited with chicken and fish.

Grand paw had a good way to get rid of rats in the corn crib when I was 8-12 yrs old, me, a 62 Winchester pump and hand full of rat shot......and a flashlight.

SENIOR DONT USE RAT POISON! rats/mice cant burp or fart, use a 50/50 dry mixture of JIFFY cornbread or muffin mix and Baking Soda, wont hurt any other animal or bird but since rats/mice cant burp or fart to get rid of the gasses built up, the baking soda kills them! (the Jiffy cornbread/muffin mix lures em in). soda works great too but, you really need to keep it from going flat so probably not real practical, but if the mice/rats make it inside your house, just pour a lil soda in a jar lid and they'll drink it. then not feel good and find a place to curl and die.
once again, safe for other animals and if one of your dogs or cats finds dead mouse/rat and eats it, it wont hurt them!  

PS -- grape koolaid wont do shit! although ya could probably mix the powder with baking soda for about the same effect as the sweetened cornmeal mix...

You could switch from underwater demolitions to underground demolitions....

Chewed up some extra comforters etc. Went under with expanding foam and steel wool. Filled every possible hole. Poison out too. Last trip 1 ran out through my living RM. Almost put a .357 rnd through my RV. Luckily wisdom prevailed and I had to get mid evil. Butt stroked him with my rifle. He ran the wrong way and cost him. It's disgusting having those fuckers in where you sleep eat etc. More poison out and glue traps. Anyone hear from Subman/ EFD lately? Haven't seen him on in awhile. I have a service dog , for balance and mobility. He does a service , don’t attack people , I can walk with braces and he walks aside of me and if I lose my balance I can grab the handle on this vest and saves me a fall ..He’s had 8 months of training and had to take certification tests before he’s a full fledged service dog . I rescued him from the pound , and pay for all of his needs . When his vest comes off he can romp out back with the other dogs . When the vest is on he knows he’s working. If I fall he stands over me a Barks. What that guy has is a trainer Military attack dog. Not a medical Service dog. No one in their right mind would give that type of dog to someone with PTSD…There are sites you can pay money get a vest and a card and , they are a service dog and you can only ask is he a service dog , and what task he is trained to do. Emotional 2 lb Chihuahua s are not service dogs. But if the can detect a seizure or low blood sugar and alert the person they are a service dog. But these dogs a 8 to 10 months of training. There is no official service dog registry , you can’t ask to produce any documentation, I think is it’s BS.
I have a card which has the master trainers name and number the dog is registered thru NYS Police, and Columbia county sheriffs department as a Medical service , and trained in tasks for my medical needs.

With Christmas fast upon us, I nominate Red, to be the sites official Santa Claus. All in favor...
