Something else isn't adding up (see the closeup shot at the 4:01 - 4:04 mark). He is only a Staff Sergeant (E-5 in the Air Force), but he has 7 awards of the Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Medal (guard and reserve equivalent to the active duty Good Conduct Medal, awarded for every 3 years of qualifying service), and he has a Navy GCM senior to it, and then 3 awards of the Air Force GCM senior to the Navy ribbon. At minimum, that's a whopping 33 years of service based on the ribbons and devices. His Air Force Longevity Service Ribbon (second row from the bottom, far left) has devices indicating 28 years of service (awarded every 4 years; equivalent to other branches' service stripes). It is easy to stagnate at one rank in the guard and reserve without being pushed out by service limitations, but 33 years and still only an E-5? Both components almost always slide prior service into the fold at their existing rank from the previous branch. Time in grade gets a reboot. The best I can figure is he lost a few stripes when he stepped into the active duty side of the house, but he still should have pinned rank quickly. He might have sweetened the stolen valor pot with his devices not realizing that some of us can actually read them?

Hi, thanks for all the videos ive watched. Im from uk and i actually look up to anyone who is serving or has served no matter what they are doing but to try and make yourself look cooler or whatever goes through there heads at the time, o just dont understand. They should be proud of there service full stop. Why go and ruin everything by stealing valour is completely beyond me. That includes guys over here in the uk 🇬🇧 . They already earned respect by joining the military and serving.
Idk.
I wish there was a uk version of don outing these people to without stealing your valour of outing these dudes lol.
