Absolutely fearless, got her leg out of the cast couple weeks ago trying to tackle a kid 100 lbs heavier. Yesterday it was 60 outside and she was jumping in the hot tub and then climbing up the bounce house to slide down grandmother made her and the other girls come in after they turned blue lol. Every time she opened a gift she asked who gave it and thanked them individually good work dad!

I won the Democrat Medal of Honor when I served during the war at Sum Yung Dik offensive near the Miso Honi River.

I worked undercover disguised as a waitress at a small cafe receiving top enemy information and then escaping through enemy lines. I was then temporarily assigned foreign duty in England and served with the British Thermal Unit until things got hot. Transferred back stateside for more training. Stationed in Kentucky under Colonel Sanders. I was then assigned as commanding officer of the oceanic garbage ship, the USS Bill Clinton while she was in drydock.

Then I went to Seal Counterintelligence Underwater Mine school for S.C.U.M. training. I was the #1 SCUM in my graduating class and was given the Seal of Counterintelligence Underwater Mine Brotherhood of American GI's (SCUMBAG) Award.

I was sent to Afghanistan undercover as a pig farmer selling defective mini missiles disguised as super-sized sausages. Business went well especially with the female insurgents until one blew up in my hand while demonstrating how to hide it while transporting. She did not survive. I was awarded 5 Purple Hearts for my hand injuries.

I was taken to a secret base in Saudi where I flew a F-35 stealth to the Arabian Sea and landed on a submarine which took me to an undisclosed location for treatment and recuperation. As a result of my mission and injuries, I decided to retire and won my second Democrat Medal of Honor.

All this would be extremely difficult to verify as my career was highly classified and my records were permanently sealed and then destroyed by the CIA.

Texas Guardsmen Shot At By Heavily Armed Cartel Gunmen At Border

Heavily armed drug cartels are becoming more aggressive along the Texas-Mexico border amid President Biden's immigration crisis. Last week, Fox News' Bill Melugin captured cartel members shooting over Texas Guardsmen stationed at an observation post. Now Melugin says cartel members are shooting "at Texas National Guard soldiers."

The latest incident occurred Thursday night in Roma, Texas, when suspected cartel members fired "two shots across the border at Texas National Guard soldiers," according to Melugin. He said this is "the same area where cartel gunmen have been seen taunting the soldiers in recent days."
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) said, "two shots were fired across the border from Mexico into Texas, "believed to be aimed at Texas National Guard personnel." They stated, "Texas Rangers responded to the scene" and confirmed "no injuries," adding that an "investigation into this incident" is underway.

Responding to DPS' statement published on Facebook, many users were disgusted how "sleepy Joe Biden's world" is falling apart. Some suggested Guardsmen and all law enforcement fired upon by cartel members should "shoot back." Others said this is an "act of war."

The Country Fire Service is performing what is called a "Burn over drill" outside my house.
This is practice for when they are overrun by a Bushfire.
Where I used to live, all the trucks were fitted with external fire suppression systems, aka big fucking sprinklers.
Here, not so lucky, all they have is hoses, so they duck down in the back of the truck and spray water up in the air.
Problem is when its 120 in the water bag and the winds are 80 miles an hour its just pissing into the wind.

They are all Volunteers, they dont get paid. They are local farmers who are on call 24/7 for fires, road crashes, storm damage etc.

Don gave a good example of the way to write.
The secret to writing is re-writing (used to be taught in school but it's probably not anymore).

I was mentoring some new engineers and one of them was frustrated that her emails were so bad when she wrote exactly what she meant. I asked her if it was really important if the email gets out right away or in 1/2 hour and she answered "no".

We need to let it "go cold" and re-read with a fresh mind, think about how others may have a predisposition to think about certain words in a different way etc.

It's worse with email and we see these errors in forums & chat rooms all the time. We tend to "talk with our fingers" which doesn't work, folks re-think or edit when typing like stating a case in plural vs singular, trust the auto-speller and make all types of errors.

Then when you read back what you wrote right away there's a tendency to look right at the mistake and "read what you thought" when you typed it.
Oddly folks who are smarter tend to think fast and the problem can be even worse for them if they haven't learned to "blank" then re-read.

A friend stopped by today and asked me to sharpen his hunting knife. When I handed it back to him he said it didn't seem that sharp. I advised him a knife for field dressing deer should not be razor sharp because he could easily chip the blade on a bone. And he wouldn't need something that sharp to field dress deer. Almost immediatly after that he proceeded to drag his thumb down the length of the blade and sure as daylight follows night, he sliced his thumb open. I laughed out loud. "Well for about a week or more your going to understand what I was talking about every time you try to use that thumb." Some people just have to learn the hard way.
