When the Sheriff drives someone from county to county, it is similar to begin ridden out of town on a rail. When a career con artist like Eric gets to ride in the back of any police car, it is pure torture for him as he gets to replay the lowest points of his life in an endless loop of PTSD. This Eric clown will likely try to Bernath himself, but at a minimum, his teeth have been yanked, and he is likely hiding underneath a rented mobile home in Livingston.
A note for the victims is to sue him in small claims court for any money he obtained from you with his lies. Include in the small claim court file a copy of his arrest and convictions. Also, for triple damages, court costs, filing costs, the cost to travel, time lost at work, and so on.
Also, do not merely list his cases, but rather go to the courthouse and get the entire case record, and go to the probation department and get that case record as well. Additionally, go to the Sheriff's office in your area and get all the incident reports for the "great purge" of Eric, and then start researching the incident reports of where Eric has ever lived (these incidents reports are always pure gold).
The tactic I use is to map out every place that person has ever lived or visited for a week or longer, anywhere in the country. I arrange these by county and draw a 35-mile radius around every location to see what other counties he might show up in. I then have minions go to every courthouse in those 35-mile radii and search for any occurrence of any of his names) or names of people he was in a domestic relationship with. Then we so the same thing that we did at the courthouses, but we inquire of every law enforcement agency (Sheriff, Police, etc) in those same areas. These both indicate reports are also pure gold but connect them to the related court cases.
Then, who you sue Eric is small claims court, attached all of these records as attachments as they will prove he has a long history of fraud, has been convicted of fraud, has served time for fraud, and that it is more likely than not that he will re-offend again in the future, and these three is probably cause to believe that he also stole from you, and then present the documentation of how he ripped you off. All of this creates a "paper trail" of Eric's conning and thieving. The next victim needs to be able to find these documents fairly easy, and they need to be able to see videos of these documents on Youtube FaceBook, and on various stolen valor websites.
Eric will start using a new name, probably right away, and he will likely travel to North Carolina (Stone Mountain specifically), but he will try to use the same scam, with a new TikTok video, and use Intgrams, Twitch, or other video sharing sites. He will not change the way he does things but will use a new name and new location unless he is profoundly stupid.

4 days old! The bottom one is already exhibiting extreme physical ability and determination, including multiple escapes over the wall of their kennel. Due to repeatedly escaping the fenced yard at the tender age of 3 years old, to play at the local Madam's house, we named him "Herschel."

Not sure how these super small town police work, but....If the police handcuff someone and take them it usually means that person is under arrest. Dude probably had a warrant. Could have been a minor warrant like an unpaid traffic or parking citation. I have close friends and family that are police officers and they are not taxi cabs. 4 days old! The bottom one is already exhibiting extreme physical ability and determination, including multiple escapes over the wall of their kennel. Due to repeatedly escaping the fenced yard at the tender age of 3 years old, to play at the local Madam's house, we named him "Herschel."
All I came up with, from top to bottom, is Benjamin Kitten-yahu, Chairman Meow Zedong, Yassir Ara-Cat, and little Herschel. Any naming ideas? More importantly, anyone looking for kitten, near New Orleans? I hope to republish this on the next video comment in hopes of finding homes.

Not sure how these super small town police work, but....If the police handcuff someone and take them it usually means that person is under arrest. Dude probably had a warrant. Could have been a minor warrant like an unpaid traffic or parking citation. I have close friends and family that are police officers and they are not taxi cabs.
