Lots of scams and scammers, they tried to get me yesterday.
They pretended to be Wells Fargo where I do have some of my accounts.
They wanted me to transfer my savings to my Apple Wallet where it would be safe as they did their "internal investigation". Accent was from India or near there. Area Code was Michigan but those can be spoofed.
(Apple Wallet was step1, no idea what step 2 was because they hung up when I asked questions).

Facebook scam on my mother last November would have been an old age scam not a romance scam.
They can tell her age, she had pictures of her home and her favorite antiques,
She looked like she had money but she didn't.
50 dollar gift card for a birthday gift was probably testing the waters to see if she would keep giving to them.
When they got her phone number they called instead of texting (US voice).

Well, I made it to another birthday! Good afternoon Echo Platoon!!🤗❤️

I took today off because I worked late yesterday. I should have gone to work. I have some old bags of yard waste I should have gotten rid of long ago. Today I decided I'd re-bag them for pickup—big mistake. As I was getting near the bottom of the old bags, I disturbed a bee's nest. There was a cloud of them; I turned and bolted immediately. I still managed to get stung about 5 times! It was discomforting to say the least, but not life-threatening. After I recovered, I was pissed; the war is on. I covered myself head to toe, much like a beekeeper, and finished packing up the yard waste. I'm hoping the nest was in one of the old yard waste bags because they are all sealed in the new bags now. There are still a few 🐝 hovering over the ground where the old yard waste bags were, not many. Let's hope the nest isn't in the ground. I won't make that mistake again. They hide well. I cut the lawn through there, did some seeding, and raking in that area many times this summer. Never saw a single bee once. Funny how a little insect will send a grown man running, and running like I did back when I was in high school! Benadryl works great, I would recommend everyone keeps a tube close at hand.

Seems like the was an old song that read like looking for love in all the wrongs places…. And the old saying if it’s too good to be true it is….. I’m 60 myself and if my wife of 38 years passes I surely wouldn’t be robbing the cradle at half my age… lord I can barely keep up with my wife and cat much less a 29 year old healthy woman. I’d freaking croak of a heart attack…. Well I got my left arm back and off the pain meds but in two weeks the ole doc corrects my right elbow… so will be the one armed bandit again…. And to know what true love is have your spouse have to help you wipe your backside…. I’ve had some 30 surgeries since 2002 and my wife has nursed me back every time… that’s true love…. Have a good one folks…

The timing makes it look like Raymond A Jr didn't actually make it to his A-School.
It sort of matches with boot camp, a 2 week leave after boot camp (it may have been a longer leave since it would be around the Christmas holidays).  When you get there, you have to wait for a class to start 

Then, they had to go through A-FunP (aviation fundamental principles, there were different names for it).
They have to learn about the motions of an aircraft like roll, pitch, yaw etc., what all the other Aviation ratings do, what happens on flight lines & hangers and things like that. 

You don't go to boot camp & school first then you're in the military, just like that Air Force guy that got put on a psych evaluation, you're in the military.
There's the brig, various types of legal & medical hold etc. you can get rolled back for failing tests, then it takes time to process you out. 

The records probably don't say he was assigned to A-School because he never made it to day 1-1 of the actual A-School.

He was probably an E2 vs E1 because he had one year of a Jr College or Vocational school when he joined.

I did NTC in Nov/Dec 1992, it rained and/or sleeted/iced on us pretty much daily! being in Light Infantry/Light Fighters, we HAD to hump our Shelter Halves in our rucks everywhere we went but was NEVER allowed to use em; we never had shelter! everything we had was soaked and/or frozen including our BDUs and Sleeping bags. we had a handful of guys drop with Hypothermia in the desert! the absolute worst Field Problem I did while in the ARMY!

Wanted a 50 dollar birthday gift, asked for money only once, she just laughed, she has no expendable funds, they kept making contact and wanted to get her on a private WhatsApp text where everybody else couldn't see what was going on in Facebook.
We changed her cell phone number to be safe, locked down her Facebook.
