We lost a good one, RIP Angry Anderson, Gary Stephen "Angry" Anderson AM. He had a Hearta whilst on tour in Germany. Was in hospital for a few weeks, needed a transplant I spose. How he made 79 is a miracle, all 5 foot 2 of him.

In the 80s we would go out at 10am on a Sunday to go and have a Counter Lunch at the Pub, steak and vegies or salad etc 12 bucks and a quiet dozen beers. Then we would go to the Football to watch a mate play. It was BYO, see how much beer you can drink in 3 hours. 12 26 oz bottles each was pretty normal.
The we would go home and Auntie Barbara would have dinner waiting for us which we would eat together with Gran who was a better cook but too fucked to cook any more.
Roast Pork, Roast spuds, onions, pumpkin. Peas, beans, cauliflower, carrots, brussell sprouts, cabbage and gravy made from the juices of all the above with home made apple sauce too. A plate like a bin lid, enough for seconds and thirds, and endless bread and butter. She was a very good cook, RIP.
Then we would watch Allo Allo, a vhs a few more beers and off to bed.
That was life back then.

I had to stay home today because I was having seizure warning signs so I read most of the day to stay away from screens. Finished this book in one day. It's about an unnamed teenage girl who gets addicted to drugs and documents her spiral in a diary. The diary was selling under the stance it was an actual diary written by a real troubled teen but it turned out a woman named Beatrice Sparks wrote it. It was a very sad read but eye opening.
