About 8 hours ago I spoke with a buddy in Ukraine. He lives in the western part but his parents live in Kiev. Not a lot going on for him but his parents are a different story. I asked if he would head to Poland and he said no. He kept saying that he needs to protect his homeland. I am not sure what that looks like for him, but I hope for the best. Am I the only one that sees this is how WW II started? Just replace Russia with Germany and Japan with China. Fuck.

Shit, I am fucking angry. This is no shit. We have a weak, incompetent President, a VP that should never have been in office and a military crises that the EU has not seen since WW II. Germany is dependent on Russia for energy and responded with 5000 helmets to Ukraine while Biden put some "troops on alert". Putin already baked sanctions into his decision so he does not give a shit. He is laughing at the US who is focused on what bathrooms people should use and, worse yet, the Army recruiting video of Emma and her two moms.
Now we have China saying that they should support Russia because they expect them to support China when they take Taiwan.

Evening all. The geopolitical world is in a shit storm. Here is my question. All of the talking heads have said that Putin is doing this because he wants to recreate the USSR. So why is everyone talking about Ukraine rather than what is next? He already has Belarus, so going north he can take Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Poland and Romania are the only sizable countries west that are left. Is this Biden's Neville Chamberlain moment?
