I retired from the Army in 2016, on my first few trips to the VA for some follow up appointments, I noticed while in the waiting room, conversations between veterans seem more than often that everybody was a sniper or some type of Special Forces soldier. I began thinking how was the military ran by so many spec-ops guy? Who ran the supply rooms or the chow halls? How were logistics or orderly rooms ran so well by snipers? Needless to say, I was ready to watch Senior Chief Don Shipley out some of those kinds of bullshitters when I found his YouTube channel. Thanks Senoir!

After I got word that Ron came clean about his service I told him that I was proud of him and it took a lot of courage to admit he wasn’t a SEAL. We hugged it out.. Dear Lady Di--my heart goes out to you. My dear Bonnie has been in almost constant recovery for the past year and a half--been hospitalized 3 times in the past year for various ailments-lung cancer and radiation treatments, upper spine surgery (through the front of the neck-ugh), severe emphysema. Also in the past year has had shingles, serious bowel blockage and currently recovering from pneumonia. She also lost her eyesight seven year ago.
Dear Don--Because you love dear Diane so very much you will get accustomed to being her caretaker and, like me, consider it a privelege to be able to be there for her.
As I commented to a friend recently--"as it turned out, I would have made a damn good wife."

I left active duty in the army 65 years ago today-- my duty was to protect all of you from those dirty commies--we haven't been attacked since then--mission accomplished.
