I just don't understand it. The guy served, must have thought he was destined for greater. I served 3 years as an MM on a little, unknown tin can called the USS Robison. Was in from 85 to 88. Nothing special happened, no major world conflicts. I did my job operating a steam plant in an engine room. I tell people about it and I'm proud of what I did. I was in the Navy! Why can't these phony ass bastards just be proud for serving in the capacity they did?
