Hardest part of DUDS was team work??!! I watched Discovery BUDS class 234 -- seems to me if you were an individual and not a team player you were missing by episode 2, maybe three. I never once said watching 234 -- I could do that.
In the Air Force (1970s USAF) basic training if you could run the 1.5 miles in < 20 minutes, know your left from your right and whom to salute and not be noticed by the TIs  --  that was the golden ticket!

There are probably 100s or 1000s of phony SEALs on instagram that are fitness and/or firearms and tactical influencer wannabes. I don’t know this for sure but i’d have to imagine the issue will only get worse with fakes as it becomes increasingly easier to make money based soley on your appearance and story on instagram and tiktok and things like that.

Ive met many a SEAL at our Sturgis house, 3gunz, and at Little Creek. For me ive noted these SEAL's to be well gounded mature men who dont whine about things or tell you how great they are. There are 5 SEAL's in this picture and 2 Marines. This is half of our group.

Ive probably seen 20 actual SEALs on video. Every single one has tired eyes. Eye creases from staring at the sun, squinting all day and lack of sleep. They just look tired, even the young ones.

One lie...that is all it takes. Biggest one I told was -- in the Air Force I broke my nose playing softball, told someone it was a bar fight. Made me feel good until I was actually in a bar fight -- that didn't turn out so good.
