Has anyone ever proposed an “amnesty” for VFW, the American Legion & other organizations where they agree not to pursue legal action against ppl who lied or submitted fake DD-214s re: medals, awards, campaigns & completing elite training like Navy Seal, Ranger or Special Forces (couldn’t resist mentioning Army in same sentence lol) & then sending off for verification to Don Shipley & others at the end of the amnesty? It would be a great cleanse of imposters & bring more publicity to Stolen Valor.

The letter does not say SEAL, it says served with a SEAL team. You can say same thing about MCPON,he served as a SEAL tech, NEC 5306 AND 5307.
