Senior, you always said Navy SEALs were your expertise, not the other branches. I thought about this for a few days. Something in his military story does not make sense, and here it is. Cameron was a qualified KC-10 boom operator. However, when he became permanently DNIF (duties not to include flying), he was given duty as a bus driver for the SERE school, where I worked/supported. He is then offered a hard luck discharge. Here is the part I'm confused. KC-10s are not stationed at Fairchild AFB, nor were they ever. The USAF did a Permanent Change of Station (moved him from one base to another), incurring an automatic 2 year active duty service commitment, knowing full well he was departing active duty? To paraphrase, this doesn't pass the sniff test. If the reason for this PCS was based on his clearance, I stop believing. Unless he was changing his job, as in attempting to become a SERE instructor, that makes sense. However, what he presented currently does not make sense.

Since I do not have access to his documents, I am not questioning his qualifications. Personally, I do not care. I have friends at the places he worked, including TATE. My ex-wife was a contractor for the advanced schools. I even went to the TATE Christmas Party in Spokane in 2007. When I left Fairchild in 2008, she looked into doing the Ft Rucker job, since I was assigned in Georgia. My ex-father in law worked teaching courses at the JPRA. He was the historian and has many books and articles about high profile rescues. One of my previous squadron commanders was in charge of the JPRA a couple years ago. Furthermore, the current commander at my previous unit worked at the JPRA prior, and helped with the recovery of a US person held overseas. If I need to reach out and contact them, I will.

Furthermore, there is no reason to doubt his training post service. Records, certificates, and training are one thing. How he specifically helped with the rescue is another. I found a big hole in his story. I am skeptical, but I will let the evidence persuade my conclusion.
