Joy to be an Englishman on 25th October. The lethality of the English longbowmen demonstrated again. My personal favourite is the 21st October - Trafalgar day, where Admiral Nelson destroyed the combined French and Spanish fleets in 1805, and gave his life for his country. Every year we toast 'His immortal memory'. No visit to the UK is complete without seeing his flagship, HMS Victory preserved in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Finally, God bless the insanely brave men of the USN, who fought at Leyte.

A little history about today: Today is the anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt in 1415, when the English under King Henry V defeated the French on St. Crispin's Day (25 October) of that year. Henry (1387-1422) followed his father King Henry IV to the throne in 1413 and two years later announced his claim to the French throne and rekindled the Hundred Years War by invading Normandy.
In a post-battle compromise, Henry later married Catherine of Valois and was named by France's Charles VI as his successor, but Henry's untimely death to illness in 1422 prevented him from assuming the French kingship.
This is also the anniversary of the "the charge of the Light Brigade" at the Battle of Balaclava on 25 October 1854. Although of relatively little importance in the larger context of the Crimean War, Balaclava has emerged as its most famous encounter because of Tennyson's poem, which immortalizes the brave, but foolhardy, British light cavalry assault on massed Russian guns and infantry at the end of a shallow valley near Sevastapol. Of the 673 men who started out, 118 were killed outright, and only 195 remained on horseback at the end of the encounter.
And finally, today is the anniversary of the largest naval encounter of World War II in the Pacific, the Battle of Leyte Gulf (which actually lasted from 23 to 26 October 1944), in which the U.S. Third and Seventh Fleets decisively defeated the Japanese Combined Fleet after the latter sortied in an attempt to destroy the forces supporting the ongoing Allied invasion of the Philippine Islands. The U.S. victory at Leyte Gulf essentially destroyed the Japanese Navy as a fighting force, and its remnants posed little threat for the remaining months of the war.

Two guys are sitting at a bar as last call is announced. One guy starts to tell the other how he has to sneak into the house & not wake his wife or she will bitch at him all night. "As I approach the driveway I turn off the car & coast into the garage. I gently put the key into lock. I take off my shoes and tiptoe to the bathroom. I pee on the side of the bowl so that it doesn't make any noise. And then I gently crawl into bed." The other guy starts laughing at him & tells him that his wife never gives him any trouble no matter what time he gets home & tells the first guy what he does when he comes home. "I fly into the driveway & screech to a stop in the garage. I fling open the door & announce that I am home. I stomp into the bathroom & piss like a racehorse. Then I go into the bedroom, rip off the covers & say 'Let's Fuck!'" My wife never says a word.

We CANNOT let this happen..... ******Please read this...it's short. This should really be the wake-up call for all.******** Reliable, Knowledgeable sources in both Sacramento and Southern California have verbalized assurance from Mrs. Clinton her committed choice is President Obama for the vacant Supreme Court seat, he is committed to accepting, living in DC. I have six scary little words for all voters who backed losing candidates in the Republican primaries and who are threatening to sit out the November election because they don't like Donald Trump: Supreme Court Justice Barack Hussein Obama. The choice in November is clear it will be either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton! A no-vote is the same as a vote for Hillary Clinton. If Hillary Clinton, arguably the most dishonest and corrupt person ever to run for President of the United States, wins, I have no doubt that a President Hillary Clinton will name President Obama to the Supreme Court for several very good reasons: he has covered her backside, no easy task that in itself, in the email server scandals and now wants payback; he claims credentials as a Constitutional lawyer; he is buying a mansion in Washington D. C. and has made no secret of his desire to stay in the capital; and he could complete his fundamental transformation of our Republic during a lifetime of the Supreme Court. If that's not enough to scare a conservative Constitutionalist into voting, I don't know what will. Even if you dislike The Donald, grit your teeth and vote for him; the alternative in simply too devastating and unimaginable!!!!! PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW Thank you. I don’t know if this is true and l hope it isn't

Two Blonde woman are out at the mall shopping, got out of their car, and realized they's locked it with the keys inside. "We'll have to break a window to get them out," one said to the other. "NO," the other replied. "Maybe we can get a coat hanger to open the car door." "That never works." "Well, we'd better think of something. it's starting to rain, and the top is still down."

Every morning in Africa a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning a lion wakes up and it knows it must run faster than the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death. It doesn't matter if you're a lion or a gazelle, when the sun comes up, you better be running! Hit It
