Very happy everyone arrived safely and good times and fond memories are being had.

I hope Don heard from your son and daughter today. I worry about your son in these troubled times and pray he will be ok throughout his Navy Career. I have an adopted daughter and former step-son. I no longer hear from either due to their misguided and ungrateful current state of minds. Perhaps someday. I'm not holding my breath. I can only hope they will finally come around.

It's,sort of weird thinking of a ship on auto pilot? I guess because there is so many different variables than an aircraft . I am a ground pounder and know how to take ground and keep it,, but how does an Aegis class ship get t boned like that ? Without some sort of defense system going off ? And would the system react the same as it was being attacked?
