Mom was so proud of us when she learned site member Mick reached out to us, asking if we would be the closing act for the Fringe Festival at the Sydney Opera House for Australia Day 2025. We were scheduled to perform at the Hollywood Bowl, but of course we immediately canceled that date upon Mick's humble request, sorry Simon. The event coordinator contacted us immediately. He said INXS and AC/DC were already committed to perform, but he needed a huge closing act. He was so appreciative of us. We told him it was our pleasure, but he really should be thanking Mick. Mom was worried about us traveling so far from home again; she was relieved when we told her our good neighbor Hef would be coming with us. We told the event coordinator Hef was our manager/agent, and his airfare and expenses would have to be covered as well, non-negotiable, and lastly, Hef would get to be stage front, just off to our right. Yes sir, we closed out that concert playing four sets and multiple encores; we just wanted the people to stay a little bit longer. Our Australian fans will be talking about us for a very long time to come, something they'll never forget. You're welcome Mick...🇦🇺

Just home from dinner a bit ago, had to get Tina out…tough day for her, she lost her son 14 yrs ago today. 2 good friends of his, all were drinking and they thought it would be a good Idea to shoot her son up with heroine…… one shot, his only shot. They called the ambulance but nothing could be done. They ended up getting arrested and cooperated with police to get up the distribution chain. The dealers went to jail, his good friends committed suicide before their trial. Families ruined and torn apart. Pray for Tina as she has this dark hole in her heart that may never go away 🙏🙏

Stayed with my dad today. He was not in a lot of pain and was in a happy mood. Usually he's really nasty after surgeries because he's in so much pain but it was the opposite. We watched Megan 2.0 (first one is much better since it was actually horror) but it was ok. Got home an hour ago and now relaxing.

We decided we needed a fresh start. The wife continues to ask me "where is" such and such that we didn't bring with us.
