My husband and I are visiting my best friend and helping with her kids today since she had to be admitted in the hospital last night. We were playing with them so mom could rest and we spent two hours clapping two spoons together to a song, about farts. How they feel coming out, what they sound like and how they smell. She has three boys, one is 7 and two are 8 (she adopted her boyfriend's son). I was laughing my ass off and my husband just sighed. We'll be entertaining them for two more hours.

I noticed that too the last few years or so.
Every gas station, grocery store, parts store, drive-thru etc.
I am a higher tipper and used to always donate when this was rare and occasional but all the sudden it's everywhere.
I don't mind helping out but I have no idea who these groups are, what they do or where the money is going. 

I tip 25 percent at a restaurant and now they want an extra 15 bucks for some pleasant sounding group? Am I supposed to feel guilty if I say no?
I thought it was a California thing (and like all great trends it probably did start out here).
