Hello, when Tina arrived at Northwestern the prepped her for surgery. It appears that the cellulitis was cause from an abscess. Shocking development, waiting for a call from the doc when the surgery is completed. No visitors in recovery or in the room until 0800. Sorry to cause a lull in the festivities but just wanted to let you know. I’ll be listening but probably not posting much tonight. Staying strong and putting her recovery in the Docs that the good Lord put on this earth to help…..excluding Fauci😳. Praying for my Tina tonight🙏 God Bless you all.

Hello everyone! I just got home from the ER. Tina is in good spirits but they are transferring her from our local hospital Central DuPage Hospital run by Northwestern Medical Group. Docs there felt she would get better more aggressive care and she’s on her way to Northwestern in the City. It looks like the infection went into her bloodstream. There are other ingredients to the story but we’ll give Tina her Privacy. She sent me home and is being transferred, waiting for her call when she gets settled in. For all who texted, thank you, I couldn’t answer them all. I was to busy waiting. Kind of exhausted and letting everything sink in! Once again she is in great spirits and thanks you all for the positive reinforcement! Shower time then try to wind down……. Probably check out the music scene later👍🙏

I was 2 MANCHU (2nd Battalion 9th Infantry Regiment) and this vid is more 1/9 Manchu, but they were only a block (or was it two??) away from. we had same FSB (Field Support Battalions) and was all huddled in pretty close to each other (the Bayonet Support Battalion chow hall was like 20 yards from Barracks whereas the Manchu Shit Pit--ie Chow Hall, was a block away). brings back memories for me, I think Lamps and BridgeChief might be kinda familiar with the area as well. my barracks was right across the road from Silas B. Hayes Medical Center and when the fog and smog would roll in, the BIG 'search lights' for the Choppers to land at the Hossy were hard to see...

Well the word is they are admitting her. Infection is much worse than we thought. I find out today she's had signs and symptoms for a while but tried to let it run its course. I've had cellulitis three times in my legs and it's nothing to mess with. She's a tough gal and we'll get through this. Take care people and thanks for all the kind words, it means a lot.

Tina update...... Doc sent her to ER. I'm in a separate waiting area for people who are waiting, for people who are waiting to be seen in the exam room. Lotsa waiting going on here!

Bossy was a four time Stanley Cup champion and member of team Canada. I remember watching him play as a kid. Bossy was a class act and role model to kids all over the world. Bossy was only 65, RIP 🍁

I had to laugh at this. Reminded me of days spent learning shit with my grandfather. For some reason the very first lesson I remember was licking a 9v battery to see if it was still good. And my grandfather spilling coffee all over himself from laughing. It got worse from there ...trust me. Wish I had videos of him. Remington is going to watch all this crazy shit someday and wonder how he survived it all.
