Don you called it when you told me about Greg and Caleb. Since Oct 2025 my son took off and went to his mothers and her new man. Didn’t even tell me. I went out , came home his car was gone..I figured he went out with his friends. But then I got a text from my ex saying that he was down there and he was gonna stay overnight and he was upset. She said he missed her an overnight turned into seven months now he hasn’t talked to me we were supposed to go on a cruise and he didn’t go and get his passport done so I was out five grand. I found out that he was smoking marijuana and driving, and I took his car away. He was taking other things and driving also so his mother brought him in the car back to the house and I asked him what I did. He hit free rein in the house. He was taking Adderall to stay up all night and smoking marijuana sleep during the day. He said he had autism and anxiety and depression and couldn’t work so I took him to the doctors and they put him on some medication‘s. They sent letters to the house saying that they were gonna cut off the medication’s cause he wasn’t making his appointments. After I took the call from him and told him that once he was not driving under the influence, he would get the call back and to clean his room because it was a pigsty
The very next day, my ex went and got him another car.😮… I told her she was trying to make me look bad so she looks good and is now enabling him. He’s not working he’s 20 years old and he’s living off his mother. I’ve reached out to him because we’ve had such a close relationship in the past, he wasn’t happy about his mother cheating on me and leaving us so for him to run down to her, I couldn’t understand it. he still has things at the house and I told him to come pick it up. He came one time walked in the door didn’t say hello. Didn’t even look at me. I looked at his mother who’s turned to him and said say hello to your father, he said hello. They packed up as much as they could and they’re still a ton of stuff left here. I figured I would give him some time and hopefully that whatever was going on he would come to a senses and we would work it out.. that is not happened. He’s down by my ex and her boyfriend and her sister and drinking the Kool-Aid. Thank God, my daughter who became a nurse and I have a very good relationship and saw that there was nothing going on that he needed to leave without me, knowing I looked at the camera the night he left and you looked like he was robbing a Best Buy in Portland during our riots. I hardly saw him because he stayed up all night and slept all day. I made sure he ate every night. I told him I loved him. He said I love you too. That day he left. We were working on something and everything was fine. Or,so I thought. On his birthday, I sent him $200 and I didn’t get any good response from him. No thank you nothing Thanksgiving. I said happy Thanksgiving and no response same for Christmas and New Year’s. I reached out to him again and no response if I knew what I did or what he thinks I did to deserve to be treated terribly after 20 years, of us being together, I never left when his mother left for this guy and told me he was 16 at the time that he was self-sufficient now he’s down there and I’m a piece of crap. I guess the pain of betrayal by his mother and him has taken its toll on me. I don’t understand how sons can do your father a slide like a used tissue after teaching them morals, standing by their side, giving them everything that you can. The pain is beyond belief.

My family was everything to me.   I was blindsided twice.
