Whoa! Don't let the keyboard commandos, a. k. a., internet ballistics experts hear you say that the .22 Mag is as effective as a 9mm. They'll blow the internet up with their extensive 2nd and 3rd hand firearms and ammunition knowledge. Haha! I hate those YouTube morons... always chiming in with their bullshit hearsay expertise. I spend more time trying to dispel myths and stop the spread of misinformation than watching the videos. Which is another great aspect of following Senior Chief, yourself, and Diane over here; there's not 10,000 idiots arguing your military training and combat experience with their hypothetical, hearsay, fantasy bullshit.

Not talking about service: Years ago, right after my grandmother's funeral, out of the blue my uncle starts telling me about Nam, or more accurately Laos... I don't think he ever talked to anyone else in the family much about any of his service. He worked his way up and got out as a Commander. When his health was failing my dad took him down to the VA (he had never claimed benefits) and was surprised when people started "sirring" him, after they looked up his records, lol. That story warms my heart a little, and I wish he had started going earlier and getting the treatment he needed earlier, but he was so damned obstinate. I am proud of his service, RIP.
