I was in the grocery store today, picking up a few things. The store made an announcement over the P.A. They were informing all shoppers that their payment system was down; no Interac/electronic payments could be processed. Cash only. As soon as they made that announcement, almost everyone I could see just left their buggies and walked out. Technology is great when it works. I always carry cash on me, for just that reason, should systems crash. I was just amazed that most live and die by a bank card. There was this older gentleman in the store, the announcement didn't concern him much. I commented to him that, it must be the end of the world. He told me anyone who trusts this technology is a fool. He told me he always pays cash. He said when this technology goes for a shit the younger generation is lost. He said we can put a man on the moon, but there's no substitute for cold hard cash. I just couldn't believe the number of people who don't have cash on them. I always have $300 folded and tucked behind my driver's license in my wallet.

My great aunt lived until 102 but was still living on her own and still chopped wood for her fireplace. She went to sleep and just didn't wake up. When her friend found her she had a smile on her face so I'm happy she went peacefully. She was the nicest woman and had no hate for anyone which is probably why she lived for so long. Here we are, another weekend is upon us. As usual, when Mom has to work, we go and stay with our good neighbor, Hef. All we wanted to do was go over to Hef's, have a Yellowstone marathon, just relax and chill with a few beers and a couple of puffers. All was going to plan until the DeLorean's advanced imaging system alerted us to a future catastrophic global event. The system showed that a 95P/Chiron-sized comet was going to collide with Earth; the main area of total destruction was North America. The collision is scheduled to occur later today, at 21:35 EST. How the NEO telescope satellite system never detected this is beyond us; the only conclusion we could reach was that the Iranians must have tampered with it. So, you guessed it, the DeLorean rides again, our destination New York City, March 22, 2026. We need to assess the severity of the impact and to see what the future looked like after the fallout. What we saw was just horrific; the atmosphere was unfit for human life. The solar radiation had laid waste to everything. It made the ice age look like a picnic. God only knows how many millennia before the impact zone would be able to sustain human life again. We knew we couldn't let this happen, and that we shouldn't alter history too greatly, the space time continuum is very finite. So our plan was use the DeLorean to intercept the comit just before impact. We would alter its path so it only entered Earth's atmosphere high enough to have an impact on California. I'm extremely sad. My great aunt Olga passed away at 102 from cancer this morning. Even though she was all the way in Russia we still had the greatest relationship. She let my siblings light snowballs on fire and throw them at eachother, she let them swear, she let me flip her off and she knew how to make the best vodka. I'm even more hurt that I can't attend her funeral because I'm afraid I won't be able to get back in from immigration throwing a piss party. My mother said she would video with me during the funeral since ma and pa are afraid of the same thing. Rest in peace ŠÆŠ³Š¹. You were the best aunt ever.

I forgot, one day I woke up with a shocking headache, my head had slipped off the pillow. Long story short, I couldnt actually think in the end, got on the wrong train. Went to a Chiropractor, the vertebra in my neck was out and cutting off the blood supply to my brain. He said it was where the Hangman aims for and its usually caused by people drinking red wine. I've got a good one I'm keeping in my back pocket. On my exit physical the Navy wanted to take a chest X-Ray so no problem, they took one. It didn't come out so they took a 2nd and then a 3rd, those didn't come out either. When they wanted to take a 4th i said "hold on here, you can't keep giving X-Rays over and over, I want to talk to a doctor". The doctor was new to the Navy, he seemed unsure so he got his boss (the big boss doctor). There was shuffling around and confusion, I heard discussion and the X-"Ray machine in the next room going off several times.
Finally they all came back and told me they found 2 bad boxes of X-Ray film that were bad and cloudy to start with. But they found a good box. So the 4th X-Ray came out OK. That damn Corpsman was going to waste all those on me.
If I ever get cancer in the neck, chest or abdomen man have I got a good story for the VA.

Yagi's funeral is Thursday. My mom is going to video me so I'll be able to attend in a way. My husband got the day off too to support me which is amazing. My great aunt lived until 102 but was still living on her own and still chopped wood for her fireplace. She went to sleep and just didn't wake up. When her friend found her she had a smile on her face so I'm happy she went peacefully. She was the nicest woman and had no hate for anyone which is probably why she lived for so long. Rest in peace Yagi. I'll never stop loving you.

Here we are, another weekend is upon us. As usual, when Mom has to work, we go and stay with our good neighbor, Hef. All we wanted to do was go over to Hef's, have a Yellowstone marathon, just relax and chill with a few beers and a couple of puffers. All was going to plan until the DeLorean's advanced imaging system alerted us to a future catastrophic global event. The system showed that a 95P/Chiron-sized comet was going to collide with Earth; the main area of total destruction was North America. The collision is scheduled to occur later today, at 21:35 EST. How the NEO telescope satellite system never detected this is beyond us; the only conclusion we could reach was that the Iranians must have tampered with it. So, you guessed it, the DeLorean rides again, our destination New York City, March 22, 2026. We need to assess the severity of the impact and to see what the future looked like after the fallout. What we saw was just horrific; the atmosphere was unfit for human life. The solar radiation had laid waste to everything. It made the ice age look like a picnic. God only knows how many millennia before the impact zone would be able to sustain human life again. We knew we couldn't let this happen, and that we shouldn't alter history too greatly, the space time continuum is very finite. So our plan was use the DeLorean to intercept the comit just before impact. We would alter its path so it only entered Earth's atmosphere high enough to have an impact on California. No one's going to cry too hard over that. So yet again, even though he won't appreciate it, we arranged safe passage for Simon. I'd be lying if I said we didn't think about leaving Simon to his fate. Mom would never forgive us if we did. She's always saying, "Why can't you boys be more like Simon? You don't see him activating the EWS falsely, or finding himself in the penalty box numerous times for inappropriate or offensive posts on the site." So we did what Mom would want; we hopped in the DeLorean and went space truckin' and saved the day once again. No one was the wiser; we made it back to Hef's in time for the Saturday night videos. We just resumed our usual activities when at Hef's...

I'm extremely sad. My great aunt Olga passed away at 102 from cancer this morning. Even though she was all the way in Russia we still had the greatest relationship. She let my siblings light snowballs on fire and throw them at eachother, she let them swear, she let me flip her off and she knew how to make the best vodka. I'm even more hurt that I can't attend her funeral because I'm afraid I won't be able to get back in from immigration throwing a piss party. My dad has a girlfriend whose son served three out of four years in the Army because he was a malinger. They unfortunately gave him an honorable discharge despite being barely able to do his job in the mail room because his "knees hurt so bad". Now he gets benefits from the VA because he claimed he hurt his knees in the Army when he barley did anything. According to him everyone was "so mean" to him and he didn't like the Army. Yeah. I forgot, one day I woke up with a shocking headache, my head had slipped off the pillow. Long story short, I couldnt actually think in the end, got on the wrong train. Went to a Chiropractor, the vertebra in my neck was out and cutting off the blood supply to my brain. He said it was where the Hangman aims for and its usually caused by people drinking red wine. So Im looking forward to the findings Don.

I've got a good one I'm keeping in my back pocket.
On my exit physical the Navy wanted to take a chest X-Ray so no problem, they took one.
It didn't come out so they took a 2nd and then a 3rd, those didn't come out either.
When they wanted to take a 4th i said "hold on here, you can't keep giving X-Rays over and over, I want to talk to a doctor".
The doctor was new to the Navy, he seemed unsure so he got his boss (the big boss doctor).
There was shuffling around and confusion, I heard discussion and the X-"Ray machine in the next room going off several times.
Finally they all came back and told me they found 2 bad boxes of X-Ray film that were bad and cloudy to start with. But they found a good box.
So the 4th X-Ray came out OK. That damn Corpsman was going to waste all those on me.
If I ever get cancer in the neck, chest or abdomen man have I got a good story for the VA.

the question was "before your time in congress, other than vacations with your family" and he answered "other than vacation or mission work".
"Mission work" is very ambiguous, if you travel with a church group is that "mission work".
If you go with and for a corporation was that your "mission"? (not to mention numerous other types of missions).
He's coming in with his own agenda and not paying any attention to the question, pretty easy to play "gotcha" with a guy like that.
