I sure hope the Donald's back is better for dove tomorrow--bad back is a bitch--had back surgery about 5 yrs ago--10 times worse after surgery--neuropathy in leg--pain level an 11 on 1 to 10 scale--spent 1.5 yrs on heavy doses of oxycodone PLUS a fentanyl slow release patch.

We have magnificent wild fresh BluefinTuna down here but it can be hard to find. The only canned Tuna worth eating is Sirena. 20 years ago it was just a huge chunk in a can. Now its a small chunk and bits as a result of over fishing but it is still the only one worth eating. We dont can Bluefin we can the other local shit and its only good for cats.

Today wasn't a banner day. One of my colleagues was let go today after an ongoing internal. It was a shock to everyone. There were several and many good reasons, and I agree with the decision. I guess what really hurts the most is that it was someone I had mentored and groomed along the way. I'm kind of taking it as a slap to the face. You think you know someone and what kind of character they have, not always it appears. My first reaction was to call him, but I thought better because I'm still running hot right now. I think I'm gonna just leave the ball in his court. If I never hear from him again, that's probably a good thing. To say I'm disappointed right now is a huge understatement.

Halfway through the week and Seniors still down with his back and down hard this time! It's hard to see him like this especially since we have a big hunt scheduled in 3 days. Doc has him on muscle relaxers and advil for pain. He's streching and sitting with a heating pad on and off all day. This back thing is nothing new to him but it still sucks!! I have a RV on a hunt lease in Madison FL which borders Perry. 2 weeks ago I added it to my insurance policy. Guess it was good timing. Hope Everyone had a great day and evening.
Diane thanks for the creamy chicken substitute suggestion! I’m with you on canned tuna. And yeah cream of celery soup really adds flavor. I made some crappy recipes lately so this one looks like it could get me out of my rut. I discovered fried dill pickle fritters(awesome and so much easier to make plus crunchier) but wiped out trying the same thing with the last of my green Roma tomatoes from the garden. Just didn’t work. Anyway love the chip idea on top.
