I have decided to reinstate the fall of the footpath from the house to the kerb, not other way around like it is now. Im guessing 50 years of sediment from wind and rain has built up, probably when those trees went in in the 70s.
But I think looking at the foundations, water has been flowing towards the house for 100 years. Lucky theres only a foot or so of rain a year.
Diane I know you dont like dem trees, but when Im finished doing the path you will see why I keep them.
Its the Councils job, but I dont trust those Imbeciles one bit, so I do it myself. I have a pipe that reaches from the porch to the kerb, idiot proof really. Im chucking it all back onto the road where it came from. Its no good its polluted.  You can see the red silt and the grey gravel underneath which is a Dolomite they use for roads around here. The porch, the pipe, and where the mud is piled up, the kerb. Very easy job touch wood thanks to that old pipe. I can stand on it and use it as a roller you see.
My helpers are not much good, Happy keeps wanting to go the growl on Nancy.

Lynnhaven Pub dive bar near the Boatel, Bubbas and Chicks too. I lived off Seashell road and walked to the bay beach with friends. So much fun. 🏖 🐠 🍻
