I think you and Diane have made the right decision on buying property for now. The few times I've made good decisions on real estate purchases, they came after a lot of intense study of an area; learning the true values and the trends, up or down. Patience has yielded good results for me, fast purchases have not worked out as well.

It's hard not to question decisions but in this case it's peoples lives,would you rather be questioning why you gave the okay to advance if someone had lost their lives..I think the right decision was made that day..no need to question it.You will overcome this obstacle in Florida.

I'm sure it will work out well for you both.

Great stories Don! My sense in regards to your 'root' or your ( route) experience, is that by listening to your intuition or in other words your 'instinctive knowledge',(which I imagine SEALS have learned to hone much more than the average person), you more than likely saved a number of lives that day. Sometimes the most direct path we see in front of us may not always be the best way to go. I would not over think it.......you made the right call!
