The weekend is here again. Earlier this week, the website was having issues. We had to stop working on the DeLorean briefly to take care of the website issues. Terry couldn't figure it out, so we had to pull him out of the fire. He was very grateful for our help; he said he'd let Senior know that we're very instrumental in getting the site back up and running. We had a nice surprise planned for Hef this weekend, but that took an unforeseen turn. It was Friday, and we blew off school to go to the movies; all was good. Then Hef texted us; the message was he wanted to see us ASAP! All we wanted to do was watch a few movies and smoke a few joints. We sensed an urgency in Hef's text, so we left the movies and headed straight to Hef's place. When we arrived, we could see that look of concern on Hef's face. We asked what was wrong; he told us he was going through medical issues: complicated brain and heart issues. He confided in us that the V.A. was no help, and he was told that he was on a lengthy waiting list. This hit us very hard, coming right out of left field. We all know heart and brain-related surgeries are highly complex procedures aimed at treating cardiovascular and and cerebrovascular diseases. They manage conditions ranging from blocked arteries to aneurysms and structural anomalies, with advanced techniques utilized to protect the brain during open-heart operations. Fortunately for Hef, we could research these procedures very easily. Our lab is equipped with a holodeck, state-of-the-art, millennias ahead of our current technology. The Holodeck is a signature piece of technology. It is a highly advanced, enclosed chamber that uses a combination of holography, force fields, and replicator technology to generate completely immersive, interactive, 3D virtual environments for our training, therapy, and leisure. We used this technology to simulate the exact surgery Hef needed. We also asked Mom to assist us during this lengthy and complicated surgery. She's been a nurse for many years and could contribute enormously. She would be there to hand us the instruments we needed for Hef's surgery. She's good at doing what she's told to do, like when we tell her what we want for supper, to clean our room, and to do our laundry. All these things made the stars align; Hef's prognosis was very good. Long story short, Hef is recovering nicely from the surgery, and we are taking care of his affairs while he recovers. I've told #s 2 and 3 that they are on call till Hef is back to work; I'll be at the shop assigning and dispatching all jobs. Hef's gonna owe us big time for his life-saving surgery. I'm sure the first thing he does when he gets home is to take us to Burger King! Mom is so proud of us right now. She gave us all a big hug and made us some cherry pie...

And I was a tanker in the TN Army national Guard and was always banging my head on something. Then as a cop I was chasing some guy at night and got clotheslined by a clothesline. So I got the nickname Duck because I was always banging my stupid head. Then the Eagle part came because I used to screech like an eagle and make my wife jump. Luckily I’m now 5’11, and use a walker so I don’t bang the old noggin anymore. So glad Jay showed up and hope you have some great fishing. My brother and old cop buddy are eager to get me out on the water and hope to by this fall. God bless you guys. Stay safe and thanks so much for sharing your lives with all of us.
