I always enjoyed my winters with the USFS. There was a rhythm to it, a shared respect among folks who understood these mountains. But Hellhole—that place was different. Get mixed up out there and it eat your ass, leave you wondering if you’d ever make it back.
Still, something about it always struck me as darkly funny: the Donner Party, starving in these same Sierra wilds, chose cannibalism over eating their last three mules. Guess mule meat must’ve tasted like shit!
Beef rib finished product…… great spuds and there was salad, I just had that a bit later! Gonna get some Dino ribs in a few weeks and smoke em! Fun is over, back to reality. lol 😂

I am getting ready for the house warming party at the new yet to be named ole Virginney outpost of Warriors Rest. I bought the wrong Tabasco, I got smoked chipolotte or something not the standard habenero bottle. It says its smoked, have I made a bad or good mistake?
I have made it to Arlington Texas, Im sposed to be in Arlington Virginia, dont ask me how. This clown was on the plane with me, said he had it all under control.

Disturbing news, the Cops say friends know where the double cop killer is, but they wont say. So the cops are doing what they do in these situations. They hound every known associate with 2am wake up calls, go through them like a dose of salts, find every charge under the sun, from having an Axe at the back door, a reefer in the drawer, take every item from the house that does not have a receipt, they can be real current buns when they want to be. They will make life so hard for everyone he knows, someone will give him up. Defect all their cars too, put em off the road.
Superintendent Brett Kahan has urged anyone with information about Freeman's whereabouts to come forward.
He said it was evident that 'people know' where the fugitive is, but were deliberately not coming forward.
'People know the whereabouts of the person who;s [allegedly] killed two cops,' he said in a press conference today.
'People have chosen, for whatever reason, not to come forward, and I’m taking this time to appeal to you to come forward in that respect.'
Superintendent Kahan said that last time he fronted media, he was appealing for Freeman to turn himself in.
'I'm going to change tack a little bit,' he said.
'I extend that to anyone who is harbouring Dezi Freeman.'

I swear these phonies never grew out of elementary school. My brother used to tell kids in his elementary school that he volunteered for the FBI because kids will be kids. He grew out of lying when he was 9 and started mowing lawns to get money for action figures. He's now 40, did two tours in Iraq as a Marine and has two kids with his wife. He also doesn't talk about what he did in Iraq to random people.
After 139 days at sea, three Scottish brothers have set a new world record by completing the first and fastest unsupported row across the Pacific Ocean. Impressive

The manhunt continues, every crack Police SWAT as you call it unit is there, plus some Army, satellites, sniffers, thermals, cant find him, dont know where he is.
Being a Sov Cit nutter, his best outcome is to top himself and never be found to torment the coppers for the next 40 years. As long as there is no body, they will keep looking. He may well be dead already given the weather. If hes half as smart as they say, he floated down the river the first night thats what I would do.

10 years of solitary confinement on Shipley Island, with weekend visitors and the occasional day release, quite a shock to the system I imagine to have to wear clothes and shoes again.
I wonder what is in the lake and what you will call it? has to have a name. Down here a pond you can see the bottom of, so youve got a lake I reckon. I can think of nothing better than raising your own fish to eat, be the best fish in the world to eat.

Wow, I will never forget my privileged visits to warriors rest. But want to bless you both , and hope you can enjoy each other and the grandkids. Love you both.
Mom is so proud of us; we never cease to amaze her. It's the Labor Day long weekend, and of course, we were invited to be the top act on the Jerry Lewis telethon again this year. We all know how his good buddy the candy man made it possible for Jerry to go 24 hours straight. Mom is having her girlfriends over for the holiday weekend. We're almost certain she'll be passed out from the wine before our featured act. Anticipating this, we made arrangements with Jerry to have our good neighbor Hef on stage with us video taping our performance, so that Mom can watch it later when she's sober. Hef was over the moon when we asked him to be there; it'll be a double bonus for him, as the solid gold dancers will also be there. Our last blast before we have to go back to school...
Thanks Don, never saw Diane this happy, being close to family, order any pizza yet???? Have all the time in the world to get settled Don, Congrats once again

Greetings….. just back from the 1605 matinee, Eden, was fairly good! The blue jeans good genes chick was in it and she can act! Dressed very modishly in her role.
