Pouring down rain here in my part of Texas, flash flood warning until 8:00am tomorrow morning. Panhandle of Texas all the way into OK. city possible snow. Gifted myself a iRobot 690, best buy and amazon have it for same price of 279.00, cheapest I've found it, I'm worn out picking up wires and anything that it might vacuum up. emptied 3 times in 30 minutes from the cat hair. I do believe its going to be worth every penny!

One of the most interesting days I spent in Pearl Harbor was with a Park guide. I was standing near the waters edge where battleship row was. He walked by me and I asked him about the concrete piers. Well we eventually walked all over Ford Island while he pointed things out and gave me a timeline of how it happened. He spent about 3 hours with me. I asked if I could give him something for his trouble. He declined and said he was happy to help. Submarine barracks were on Ford Island at the time and I spent several days just looking for signs of the dasturdly deed. At that time in 69 there were still lots of things still left over from that day. I was also there for some of the filming of Tora Tora Tora. I've looked on Google and the whole place has changed. That day was definitely a day to remember, a personal tour from a man that had all the little details. I'll never forget it. Sadly I haven't heard a word on the TV about it today.
