I was very moved by this video. As an ICU nurse I have taken care of several patients that ended up being donors. It is very solemn when any patient makes this heroic trek to the OR. On the flip side I am also in renal failure and need a kidney transplant. I thank any family that makes this choice during the most stress and grief one can deal with. Yes, a hero indeed
