After looking into this story a little more, my thoughts are as follows:

I've never been a fan of cops, or incompetent managers (including the black dude who was fired as this would have been avoided if he did his job properly) nor am I a fan of BLM who seems to be rallying behind this yokel who is making a nice paycheck out of this fiasco. With all that being said, the manager in charge of handling how the investigation was conducted, the black shipping manager who failed to do his job properly and get a receipt or go to the right shipping location, should be fired. The fan girl cop should be suspended and go through training. All in all, the company should just bare down, dont make any statements, take a break from social media and just resurface a little later. The shipping manager will be alright with his go fund me and whatever new job he gets, the cop will be fine and BLM will move on to the next thing that makes their vagina bleed.

With all that said, I'm not sure what the story is behind Don and Diane and their son. I see it's a sensitive subject and not keen on asking so who knows, I could be wrong.

DJ has to be a special kind of man to have done the things he's done in his life so I'm sure he'll come around to the truth eventually. James seems like a great employee, too bad that company lost him in that manner.

Dumb cops. What did the one cop say? He was going to document the heck out of this, what? Cops have qualified immunity. Did the cop think that by documenting the heck out of the incident he would protect GBRS using the cop's qualified immunity? The cop's statement almost makes it seem like the cop understood he has created a problem. Where was the PC (probable cause) to arrest the shipping manager? Cops made no effort to investigate to establish probable cause through first hand observation of facts by the police, facts obtained through investigation, viewing of evidence that supports facts, and the use of experience to interpret the facts using a reasonable person standard (meaning a reasonable person could draw a conclusion based on facts not assumptions / suspicion) to establish probable cause. Probable cause is based on facts not suspicion. Doing "your boy" a favor is not good enough to establish probable cause. The cops committed 4th, 5th, and 14th Amendment violations. The "boy" at GBRS made assumptions based on suspicion (not facts) and this is why they are being sued. This is not legal advice, just my humble opinion. LUNATIC SYDNEY POLICE OFFICER MURDERS FORMER BOYFRIEND AND HIS BOYFRIEND.

Celebrity chaser and police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon has been charged with the double murder of Channel 10 presenter Jesse Baird and his boyfriend Luke Davies.

Police will allege Lamarre-Condon, 28, shot the pair with his police gun at Baird's home in Paddington, in Sydney's inner east. On Monday evening, Lamarre-Condon then hired a white Toyota HiAce van from Mascot and allegedly used it to dispose of the couple's bodies, police said.

Detectives believe Lamarre-Condon then returned to the gun to a police station's locked firearms safe on Tuesday.

He then took sick leave from the NSW Police Force for the rest of the day and failed to return to work on Wednesday. Homicide Squad commander, Superintendent Danny Doherty, said police had matched a bullet cartridge found in the premises to a police weapon.
The bodies of Mr Baird and Mr Davies are yet to be found.

In any organization there are good guys and bad guys. From priests to cops to spec ops, they all have the usual suspects. The hard part is sorting them out. I hope the guy gets satisfaction. I got suspected of keeping a change bag with 50 bucks worth of change. I had turned it in to a guy that quit a couple days later. When asked I said I would be glad to pay the 50 bucks,but if it somehow got found, I wanted a complete company wide retraction and apology. They balked and eventually found the money. They found out he had hid the change in a desk rather than open the safe. Cameras were installed shortly thereafter.

Hi Don and Diane. I'm a new subscriber. I just want to tell you from all the videos I have watched especially the ones about raising your kids. Don't feel bad you are great parents and did the best you could to make life great for your family. You did nothing wrong. Sometimes you can be the greatest Parents and raised your kids to be good until someone with a bad influence comes along and ruins everything you you taught your kids. Then you have the crappy parents and their children become criminals. Keep doing what you are doing. You are good people and hope someday I hope to me you guys.

There's two different standards at play in this situation. The employers will be held to a reasonable person standard. If a reasonable person could believe that a theft occurred then they will be OK. The police will be held to a higher standard. They are should be trained professionals who have a duty to deprive people of their liberty IF they determine by investigation that a theft has occurred.

What's going to be especially damning is that the officer seemed to do more investigation to determine that a theft didn't occur, asking them to open the box and check the S/N, than he did to determine that a theft did occur.

The actions of the accused were great. He remained calm because he knew that he was innocent. He'll be getting a big settlement.

I dont have a good relationship with my dad for different reasons. But my family feels for you 2. Especially seeing how much you 2 give back to everyone. Keep up the good work.

IMHO the employers aren't in as much trouble as the police. When you think that you have been the victim of a crime the correct thing to do is to report it to the police. The police recieve the report at the level of reasonable suspicion. If their investigation finds probable cause, then and only then can they make an arrest.

The glaring omission here was the investigation. That's on the officers.

I would also seriously question whether an officer can "unarrest" someone. Once the officer has found probable cause and made the arrest it's out of his hands and only the prosecutor can decline to prosecute or if they do then a judge can make a finding of "not guilty". Arresting someone is a big deal, not to be done lightly.

Don, Diane, I just signed up to this site but have probably viewed hundreds of 'phoney seal videos' on YouTube over the years. Heart breaking to hear of this situation.
