Love it Diane, and I know it taste great! My wife, Diane, about 3-4 minutes before she takes the cornbread skillet out of the oven, takes a whole stick of butter, cut into 4-5 pieces, and puts them on top of the cornbread and back in the oven for the remainder few minutes till it all melts across the top and into the edges. We accuse her of cooking butter with a little cornbread, but we gobble it up with Sorghum and no complaints!

we call em BROWN BEANS here.most of us crumble up a piece of cornbread in a bowl and put the brown beans and bean juice over it. of course though, the corner pieces get drowned in butter, maybe throw some molasses to jam/jelly on top the butter and thats a side dish for ya beans! fried taters with onions is a great side too! 

Ive eaten the wilted lettuce like ya made but I dont remember ever having eggs in it, GOOD AS HELL!!!!
