Good times! I did roofing and tree work for a small company when I was in high school… I actually enjoyed it. I enjoyed doing tree work up until I was in my 40s. Bad joints and a fat ass make it a lot harder. Is that pipe poking straight up? We have used a spare tire/wheel to pull a shit ton of posts up at my buddies property. It works well. We tried just a wheel without a tire on it and it just dug into the ground and was too low. This YouTube video is a good example.

Another weekend has rolled around. Mom is going to bingo with the ladies tonight. Our good neighbor, Hef, graciously offered to have us over for the weekend so Mom could have some quality time with her friends. Mom is a master with a bingo card; she always cleans up with the prize money. Bingo night for the ladies really started in Sudbury, Ontario. Every Saturday night, the ladies would go to bingo while the boys were getting stinko. Just a bit of history for everyone. Back to our weekend, Hef has become very leery about coming with us in the DeLorean, so we decided the DeLorean would remain in park this weekend. Hef is so good to have us over and let us smoke our weed and drink beer; we decided a nice, quiet weekend hanging with him was the ticket. Hef had the whole weekend all planned for us; he's so considerate. We will play some big-money poker with a $200 buy-back and watch a Clint Eastwood movie marathon. When we got to Hef's place, he immediately ordered some Chinese takeout for us, our favorite. After a nice feed of Chinese food, we were all set to hit the poker table. Unfortunately for Hef, it wasn't his night; fortunately for us, Chuck wasn't at the table. We felt bad for cleaning Hef out, so we reimbursed him for the Chinese food; it was the least we could do for him. We needed to, "go ahead and make his day." ...

My husband is going to Florida for two weeks for a conference starting next weekend and I'm staying at a group home while he's gone. I've had bad experiences with group homes in the past so I'm not excited.

Good help is hard to find, glad it went well. The pipe may well be the end of an L shape. Before you pull up the pool with it, get a plumber to stick a camera down the pipe and see where it goes. Or blow it up.

time and again i have had to deal with contractors who have not completed a job my elderly neighbors paid them to do and no phone call for an update as promised. And then there's the constant issue of these lazy thieves over charging to make matters worse. Ive told more than one of these thieves im gonna tell everybody i know just how bad you fukd these good folks over and word gets around fast in a small community, problem is most good people just dont want to say anything.
